Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
If we don’t get an Rns today that pushes us out to Monday the 2/12 which means setting aside Xmas eve there will be only 20 trading days to 2020 so that means a whole raft news is possible in what is a narrow timeline if it all transpires as the company has indicated , and game changing news at that ...
So if ever there was a window of opportunity with a share then this surely has to be right up there with what’s to come ..as the value disconnect even with a 250% rise from its penny low is still humungous when judged against its peers.. Xmas is definitely coming here I reckon .. aimho as always GLA
Spot on mate this is a brilliant appointment as all companies that are progressing from explorer to developer need to change tack at the top as it’s a different skill set that’s required that move it to the next level and that is exactly why this new guy has been brought in to conclude not just the deals but the right deals at the right time and on the right terms ... I don’t know much about Pj but he’s been ok for me and done his bit I guess altho the general consensus from doing some digging is that he was possibly a reason for bigger institutions not to buy in than do so , which opens up new investment opportunities one hopes ... Atalaya did exactly the same thing at the same stage and they went on to multibag and tbh that was nothing like as exciting or as timely as this will be ... so why peeps are selling at this point is quite incredulous but each to his own GLA happy days
Some really interesting aspects to that Rns today but at least we know now where we stand and some truly exciting developments afoot which for the longer term thinkers Is very reassuring and all positive stuff ...
As for the placing it’s not many shares in truth but at 7p explains fridays fall and probably the same will happen first thing ... it also says to me that despite the written confirmation about the overdue Chinese payment it isn’t expected imminently or they wouldn’t be raising cash in a placing would they ?
It is what it is , but if U believe in this company the news today is a very progressive step and done for the right reasoning ...things seem to be moving quickly hence the need to get this done ASAP so that’s an encouraging sign .. so if u bought in Friday over 9p u may not be a happy bunny short term ...but for anyone else ..its defo another solid brick in the wall imho GLA
Piler I think u could be righteth !!

The big prizes here are still waiting to be handed out ... it will happen one day soon GLA
Thanks Levi for ur insight ,much appreciated fella
Afternoon all , I was just wondering if anyone had any inkling as to when news may arrive here and when the likely return to listing will be .. As the last trading day was almost 4 months ago to the day and it’s been that long, I seem to recall reading somewhere that news would possibly be around this period now ,with re listing possibly early jan ... does that sound about right ?
If so can I ask at what price level is expected on UOG’s relisting (either Mkt cap or Sp) assuming that everything falls into place as expected .. TYIA
Morning fella glad u’ve got on board mate the Easiest way to understand the numbers here is by listening to the podcast mentioned by Early bird below , the valuation targets mentioned therein are pretty steep even to me ..but it’s certainly not beyond the realms if all the ducks do align as projected ... point being a valuation here of even 30-40 million would see the share price suggested by ST achieved andxas he points out , its only his opinion but I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see that achieved if all the pieces do come together as expected GLA

#UOG Following our recent Egyptian acquistion backed by BP we are delighted to be nominated by the @TheOilCouncil as a candidate for their Innovation of the Year Award
We are certainly in auspicious company within this list who set industry benchmarks for excellence
Yes ur probably spot on there fella as there are some really interesting plays out there at the moment , with a good few of them awaiting potentially game changing news to both the shareprice and de risking their projects simultaneously ...so I can see why people get impatient and get itchy feet I do myself sometimes but problem for me is I just keep getting drawn back to this and my other large holding haha ..pathetic really but I’m just not convinced there are too many better than this ... altho time will tell as always , all the best wasa
I agree mate I can’t Adam and Eve it tbh so I’ve just bought another 100k at 3.74 which put mildly is unbelievable Jeff or even unbelievable Wasa GLA
Great post EB ...spot on mate ..funnily enough just b4 u posted I was looking at those sells today and only ruefully thinking that sometimes we as a nation are so impatient , but I partly understand why it happens as I’d be telling porkies if I said otherwise .. as if that was me I cud almost 100% guarantee that news would land as soon as I had -lol -so far too risky for me .. hopefully some kind of update shortly GLA
Clearly this business is trying hard to recover & learning from past mistakes and it’s going to take some time to restore any belief back from share holders that they are on the right track ,well that defo goes for me . Why? because it’s been nothing short of a disaster with sweeping statements made by the former ceo that BD was entering a hyper growth period not so long back and it’s been the exact opposite with missed timescales being a huge factor these past few months .He said all that even though he knew he was entering a recruitment campaign to appoint 9 regional managers and had already started to miss deadlines for opening new locations .. incredibly we now discover 7 of which he has released leaving just 2 so how much has been wasted on that alone ?
The true test of quality in any line of business is doing what u say u are going to do in the timescales u have set for doing it .
Big Dish recently has failed miserably irrespective of any other mitigating factors which is why it’s all needed to change . Look I wish young Tom all the luck he needs as he will need it becos b4 I reconsider my position on buying back in here I would need to see clear evidence his strategy was working , and that’s going to be a big ask imho but only time will tell and I genuinely hope he proves me wrong for all those still invested here GLA

The pace of change is accelerating so quickly .. so it seems reasonable to think it can’t be too much longer b4 the coil springs ,not with what we have on offer at Hzm , unless it defies all logic of course ...,which no can entirely discount on Aim I suppose ..haha GLA
Morning all some interesting views on here as always but investing is like trying to see into the future whilst keeping some balance to it all but it’s so hard to do that when ur completely sold on a concept like where we are right now and where we will be, and much sooner hopefully .....it’s like this piece of news yesterday
“Tesla Inc.’s new Shanghai Gigafactory, which only broke ground in January, is weeks from starting mass production of electric sedans. China’s first plant wholly owned by a foreign carmaker — & #Tesla’s first outside the U.S.” 10 months it’s taken !!!
Point being theEV Revolution is moving at such an incredible rate with dates now being brought fwd all the time, and as such , all we need to do ...is wait
FWIW I reckon Hzm is surely in the sweet spot of all sweet spots atm what with all we have on offer and one of these days it seems highly probable to me at least something tangible will most certainly happen in respect of a take out, a Jv , a partnership or a stake build or something of that ilk ,its a total no brainer considering all those factors
The shareprice whilst highly frustrating is what it is even though most of us agree that the numbers simply don’t add up , but I’ve been here b4 and the only solution is patience and lots of it ...as history has always proved value will always outs itself but only when the market decides
On the plus side for us is that if things carry on as they are it’s hand will surely get forced pretty shortly one hopes . Aimho as always and a great weekend is wished to all

Oil analyst Barney Gray gives his thoughts on United’s current situ it’s the third one he discusses about 9 minutes in I think but well worth a look
Im not sure where u have drawn ur conclusions from there fella as Zydor rightly points out that when a recession or global fears for stocks are looming is when the exact opposite of what ur saying happens , in that gold rises and simultaneously bond yield curves are inverted and yet look at this yesterday as to what happened in the US
The 10-year yield jumped 15 basis points to 1.96%, the biggest jump since the 20-basis-point move the day after Trump was elected in 2016.
The yield curve, which inverted over the summer, raising recession fears, steepened to the widest since January.
The move coincided with a risk-on move by investors out of bonds and into stocks with the S&P 500 jumping to a new record on Thursday.
Time will tell as always but reality is u pay ur money u take ur chance whatever u believe in GLA
Nice little rise today and with good volume too & intriguing to see as to whether this still continues to be a traders share for much longer... as only a day or too back u cud buy for 2.57 and yet today it’s now 2.87+ .... and with good reason
A big plus for all of us is that the TD Matt Bull who has over £2m of his own cash invested in here and without repeating all the incredible pluses the company has in its favour we now know it’s also completely unfettered with regard to having any secured borrowing at the minute and has little or no risk of a placing anytime soon given the cash it now holds.
We also know the DFS shud significantly upgrade the scoping study data and likewise propel the NPv considerably higher ... along with a few other key metrics so whilst taking profit is certainly no bad thing the downside is that if u want to get back in it will begin costing u a whole lot more anytime soon Point being game changing news could drop drop at anytime and whilst I’m no chartist by any stretch even I can see there is little/no resistance stopping what surely will be a more realistic re rate once the news arrives ...
As such u would suspect that the 3p barrier should be breached pretty soon especially if the volumes continue as they are - and maybe when that does happen it will be time to finally start the car ... and then what ... the herd will probably arrive .. haha exciting times GLA
A whole raft of articles yet again today appearing on the BB of my other sizeable shareholding emphasising the ever increasing rapid developments that are materialising almost by the day in the Global race sparked by the EV revolution ...thereby making Nickel and this stuff here a must have commodity in even remotely trying to satiate the ever growing demand for both metals in the battery driven scramble ...
clearly we all have our choices to make but how it’s all shaping up reminds me of the words uttered by the master himself Mr Buffett who poignantly said that when it’s raining gold (or about to )it’s time to get ur bucket out and not ur thimble ...fwiw I think this is going to one of those times very shortly if it plays out as most of us think it will ...so GLA and aimho of course
