Yes happy days indeed .. well done Brian and the team ... as I think it’s fair to say pretty much everyone agreed that the fund raise at 3p was disappointing to say the least ... but Brian was adamant this was the transformational deal that would help UOG move towards its aim of being a mid cap company as it would generate and add significant revenue to the pot and so fast forward 12 months from Jan 19 and it’s already doubled what it was producing and now on top of that has 4 new wells to be drilled over the next 12 months ... and all paid for as well ... I’d say he’s proved the doubters wrong myself but I very much doubt they will admit it ... either way this is a big step forward hopefully GLA

I’m glad u did too fella as one of the stoically loyal members here even u saw the writing was on the wall but the continual and ongoing stream of missed deadlines and uninspiring Rns’ over the period just like Tungder had always alluded too was the signal to me at least that this was not heading where it should have been ... he’s right too about his proposals Re this offer ...I wouldn’t entrust the board here to look after a dead mouse but that’s just my opinion fwiw ..but all the best with whatever u decide to do.

I feel so sorry for all the lth’s here after that shambles today but as I’ve alluded to on here over the past 12-18 months ever since the first milestone was missed back in Oct 18 something was seriously amiss with both the management and statements they were coming out with ..but even I didn’t really expect this .. they should hang their heads in shame the whole bloody lot of them !!

Morning Wasa mate u could be spot on but I think from the comments he made on the last IV that the intention is to secure the finance for A and take it through to production themselves if they can .. and in the meantime push V along with the idea an offer for a JV will come at some point as it’s a no brainer given what the upside will be in a year or two ..besides they have made it crystal clear the big money is anticipated to being made in 2 years time when the EV revolution really gets going ...and nickel should be a lot higher and if it is there is a double upside they sell it for a lot more or it’s generating millions in FCF pushing their wealth and ours through the roof so it’s a win win either way ... I’m not sure they are in any hurry myself but what they do know is that if they’ve called this right they are going to be set for life literally and all us Shareholders too hopefully !! All the best

To all invested here and what an exciting decade we have to look forward too here one hopes ... on that point it is quite incredible to probably most of us and certainly for those following the nickel story for some time now ,that many of these articles we see written nowadays relating to the nickel price or the future demand for it .. are headlined as though they genuinely believe they are telling the world something they’re actually not aware of ...and the crazy thing is I still ask a lot of people I know both family and friends as to what they think of where the next big investment case may be ,and even now the large majority still have no idea as to just how big this is all going to be .. I suppose I’m trying to provide some kind of rationale why we are still sitting at less than 4p ..but hopefully that will be a distant memory over these next few months ... the rapid pace of change is frightening but when the penny does finally drop the boat may well have truly sailed ... GLA and here’s to a happy and prosperous 2020 for all invested here ..fingers crossed

The current ask is 3.38 to buy for up to 100k and full ask at 3.4 for anything above which is a big jump from the previous 3.24 level indicating a few buys being held back possibly ... with only a few trading days to 2020 remaining it’s fair to say that once news drops here u suspect there won’t be many going at these levels that’s for sure
Better still the demand for graphite gets better by the day .. and when Elon Musk is saying lithium ion batteries should actually be called Nickel/ graphite batteries that says it all to me as if anyone knows his EV onions it’s him .. finally seasons greetings to all invested here..&all the best for a great weekend

Just had another listen of the latest video and JM slick as ever and very upbeat about the evolving situation here and rightly so ,but as I’ve stated b4 the BOD and Jeremy see the eye of the nickel storm appearing in 2022 and that’s just when this will start production hopefully
In the meantime the next big step is financing and he’s again confirmed it will be split circa 60% debt (off the 6 banks maybe) with the rest being split with equity / off takes or both
From what he intimated it’s pretty certain that Orion and the existing II,s on the share register will all prob want a slice and why not ? (it’s a no brainer ) so I can’t see that being a problem myself and as such ,once we get to mid year 2020 this should all be resolved and the sp multiples of 3p I’d hope
Truth is I’m not remotely bothered one iota as I know how superb these assets are and it will happen one day and when it does then watch it really fly
However the reality short term is that the focus is on progressing the finance talks (with the 6 banks ) & getting the site construction ready but Jeremy is not expecting to close the finance deal b4 the end of Qtr2 .. which is 4-6 months away and I’d assume from what he implied the equity /offtake will follow but that may not be the case I’m not 10% sure I admit
As for Verm , he clearly said that partnership talks were going well (hoorah) and potential partners could be any one of battery manufacturers ,chemical users or even other miners but he didn’t give me the impression anything was likely to be announced imminently ..but who knows ?
He also said advancing the permitting for the V feasibility study and continuing the partnership discussions will be the main focus in H1 2020 for V
So lots going on .. on both fronts ..and I’m fine with everything except why tf are we at 3p ? Unbelievable Jeff!!!
Market sentiment aside the one thing that would rectify matters here is news on either financing for A , a TR1 stake build , or partnership news on V -only 1 problem there though ...I didn’t get the impression that’s likely altho Wasa and DJR must be getting close ... come on lads help us out !! I hold a decent stake in Bids but this is now so typical of an aim share where within a few months we now see a BB sink into a wave of negativity at the falling share price ,although it wasn’t so long ago that at 30-40p this was a unicorn stock it was the only place to be , I’m never selling any of my shares ever, until it’s over a £1 etc etc ... but that was when it was valued at 100 million ..yet its revenues were no where near supporting those figures at that time .. and most of us realised that tbh but it’s potential was huge and still is ...nothing has changed ,
In fact they’re far more advanced now than they were ,except they're just getting on with it but not updating us every other day ...
Also noticeable that many of the people plugging the share ,a little while back have now stopped posting ... weird ? Or is it ? Point being it won’t be because they’ve lost faith in it ,oh no it’s because their priorities will have changed to something else ...probably because they got in early (less than 10) but knew it had risen too quickly too soon ... and as such I’d dare bet most of them had either top sliced or certainly reduced at the top end (35-40) for absolute sure ..which makes perfect sense as it happens .
They don’t tell u that though do they ...and why would they ? but I would bet my shirt that once the news breaks again they will all be back buying into a rising trend ,back making an appearance and back making money again ..
The point made about trading stocks in aim is a valid one as that’s what most of the people I’m referring to will have done ... which is why they aren’t here at the minute but they will be ,once the tide turns u wait and see .
FWIW I think this Company has so much going for it in a massive market worth billions & has some excellent people with much skin in the game .. it’s also got first mover advantage so far and has far too many pluses for it not to be anything other than a huge success ... keep the faith is my take but aimho of course GLA

Good post EB I agree with you more so on reflection and a big factor behind this deal was that it will generate revenue and I can’t see that the UOG with their nous and exploration skills are not pretty sure that there’s a lot more to come from this .. if u look at like that who’s opinion would u trust ? Time will tell but maybe the short term hit to the sp will be exactly that and nothing more GLA

Yep I totally agree the placing price is very disappointing but raising money at the moment is really difficult altho I wasn’t expecting such a discount I have to admit .
Moving forward however, the deal undoubtedly strengthens the company no end and the next 12 months should be far more transformational share price wise hopefully, with what’s in store
The niggle I have is to think we’ve been 5 months suspended and as the Rns specified the anticipated new market cap is now 18 million with 620 million shares in issue so no prizes as to what figure it’s going to open around one suspects ... which if correct is so bloody frustrating despite it being a huge step forward ... bottom line is it’s another classic jam tomorrow situation it transpires . Todays drop was not just here but across the board and the falling nickel price hasn’t helped one bit ..fair play to u Geng u have called it right again fella altho I’m stone cold certain that had funding news been released at any point in the interim it would have been an entirely different story as DJR rightly says ... but it hasn’t and ur call was spot on ...I did intimate the other day that from the I’vs given by JM I truly did not get the impression much was going to happen immediately after the last lot of news and so it’s transpired ...the steady trickle of sales has continued as lots of people just move money around to seek a quick buck elsewhere and anyone doing so from over 5p would now be a wise old owl as it’s turned out ... so well done those who did as this valuation is now crazy cheap and at some point u would expect the buyers to return .. but it’s a dilemma as news could come tomoz it could come next month that’s the risk and reward conundrum facing that call ... I’ve bought a few more as I couldn’t resist and will do the same as the Muir and Nft if I get half a chance ... Keep the faith GLA

Morning all ,(apologies in advance for a long post ). As it’s quiet just my 2p worth that’s all ,but I’ve been here a long time and intend to stay a long time as I’m absolutely sure this ship will sail in one day whenever that may be .. hopefully soon
However over that period u get to see or understand more about how the Bod or JM ,tends to think( or u think u do lol) and I have to admit I used to get a bit exasperated as we did miss a few timescales here and there and some of the excuses i felt were a bit lame on such occasions but -hit happens as they say
Fwiw I think the Bod are pretty adamant that the real fireworks for the nickel price is still a couple of years away yet but what they’ve always known is exactly what they’re sitting on here and well b4 it went public ...so they knew if they could spin the timescales out to the optimum inflection point then one day they will hit the jackpot ..and so will we ...if we are still here when it does happen of course ..
For those more recently invested here the original plan going back a couple of years was to have had financing sorted a while back with production scheduled much sooner than it is now ...but as it stands the ultimate finance package isn’t even going to be finalised TIL mid 2020 so production won’t realistically start TIL 2022 maybe , but coincidentally that’s exactly the optimum time when Jezzer thinks it will be getting close to peaking ....so his plan all makes perfect sense in truth
Turning to the recent £25$ investment by Orion .. u have to say it’s a superb endorsement of Jezzer’s strategy being shared by Orion but more relevantly right now is that it also offers another huge upside to the board because it buys them more time to feel their way thru this critical period where there is undoubtedly a stampede of interest from all quarters all trying to get their hands on either or both A and Vermelho.
It’s a perfect situation isn’t it ,?
they’re still getting paid ,they’re still moving things on and knowing that as every day passes their hand is strengthened as the EV momentum grows by the day .
As most of us know a deal could land any day at any time but its not absolutely time critical essential is it ? as we are well stashed with cash with little or no chance of any extra funding being needed so if it comes ,it comes ,if it doesn’t it will come when it’s ready ... and they know that !
just to be clear I’m fully loaded here I’m going no where I trust the board implicitly I think they’re right in their thinking if what I suppose is correct, but it’s all just my opinion ,and that’s all it is so festive cheer is wished to all invested here GL &All the best

If we don’t get an Rns today that pushes us out to Monday the 2/12 which means setting aside Xmas eve there will be only 20 trading days to 2020 so that means a whole raft news is possible in what is a narrow timeline if it all transpires as the company has indicated , and game changing news at that ...
So if ever there was a window of opportunity with a share then this surely has to be right up there with what’s to come ..as the value disconnect even with a 250% rise from its penny low is still humungous when judged against its peers.. Xmas is definitely coming here I reckon .. aimho as always GLA

Spot on mate this is a brilliant appointment as all companies that are progressing from explorer to developer need to change tack at the top as it’s a different skill set that’s required that move it to the next level and that is exactly why this new guy has been brought in to conclude not just the deals but the right deals at the right time and on the right terms ... I don’t know much about Pj but he’s been ok for me and done his bit I guess altho the general consensus from doing some digging is that he was possibly a reason for bigger institutions not to buy in than do so , which opens up new investment opportunities one hopes ... Atalaya did exactly the same thing at the same stage and they went on to multibag and tbh that was nothing like as exciting or as timely as this will be ... so why peeps are selling at this point is quite incredulous but each to his own GLA happy days

Some really interesting aspects to that Rns today but at least we know now where we stand and some truly exciting developments afoot which for the longer term thinkers Is very reassuring and all positive stuff ...
As for the placing it’s not many shares in truth but at 7p explains fridays fall and probably the same will happen first thing ... it also says to me that despite the written confirmation about the overdue Chinese payment it isn’t expected imminently or they wouldn’t be raising cash in a placing would they ?
It is what it is , but if U believe in this company the news today is a very progressive step and done for the right reasoning ...things seem to be moving quickly hence the need to get this done ASAP so that’s an encouraging sign .. so if u bought in Friday over 9p u may not be a happy bunny short term ...but for anyone else ..its defo another solid brick in the wall imho GLA
