I suspect that unless this new formulation is dramatically better than the original formula, and offered (at least initially) at a more competative price to their competition, we may be sunk.

I would have prefered Futura to have launched their best (if that's the intense) formula before enetering the market. We are now saddled with the general view that it works poorly and isn't cheap.

Most probably be good for setting future hedging also.

If we're sitting on 7.2bn debt I would personally like to see that reduced as a priority, even if that debt is taken at good rates of interest.

Our time on wing initiatives are also progressing to plan. The upgraded Trent 1000 HPT blade, which was certified in June and more than doubles time on wing for this engine, is now being fitted to both new and existing engines in the MRO network. Maturity testing has been completed on the next phase of durability improvements for the Trent 1000 and Trent 7000.
