What I should also have said is "Get Tweeting" to RB etc, isn't that what it's for. See if we can persuade him round
I've just Tweeted RB with my disapproval.
Why would we wait till 2026 to (possibly receive) 12.5p when we may possibly have nigh on that by the end of this year in cash.
I would rather take my chances and wait

Does anyone know whether any of our relinquished licenses have gone back out to tender?
The Energy Voice article makes mention of a license bid
Hi Simple. I held £5k of CA shares last year, it might just have been bad timing on my part but I had to sell them in 3x blocks in order to move them along. I did break even with them.
Hi Kever, Sorry call me an old sceptic, but where do you "hear" 14p is coming? I'm not calling you a liar or ramper but something more reliable than that is required to convince me.
Hopefully what's been good for Rolls Royce today will reflect into here?
Looks like I should join you, sorry OJ
Hi Oj, I'm sorry but I think you're premature in your view. Even if HBR had bought 27m shares back at £3.50 (they haven't) that still would only be £94.5m not £100m. I think there's a way to go yet but we'll see.
P.S I'm assuming you're correct with your number of 27,024,496, I've not kept count
Hi Sense.....I enjoyed the cricket analogy, good one ha ha
I don't know for sure, but when the buybacks were announced I did a quick (in head) calculation and thought that we would end with around 830m. However the share price has been hit so by the end might be closer to 825m?
Don't take my word for this.
With a fair wind and an additional 4x lifts this year we could have 11pps by year end, maybe more depending on oil price. If it came to it, I would rather wait for that kind of money in the bank than take a low offer now.
For a fact it's only taken 9x weeks to refill from last offtake so we're still producing over 8k barrels a day.
So, if the Altera Wave is collecting 525.000 BOE, I make that 63 days since last collection = 8300 per day approx
I see Kooba (on the other board) reckons there's an offload imminent, he is usually very sensible
Hi Andy, you're not far out but I think you're confusing dollars and pounds
But how can the business be valued at 50p if there is a going concern issue?
We don't and it isn't.
If HUR had £1bn in the bank I would be very happy with my 50p per share, ha ha
According to the trading update of 11th January the company had $122m in net free cash at 2022 year end, approx £100m or 5p per share.
Each lift adds around 1pps, so by year end IF we can get 5x lifts, we're hopefully sitting on a minimum of 10p without accounting for anything further.
