Do this by buying PSLV, as he suggests because that is the most direct way of getting bullions off Comex. SLV was also mentioned but there have been some speculation that SLV maybe used by JPM to manipulate the market. Buying bullions has some effect (if you manage to buy some) but this does take a while to feed through so not as effective as PSLV.

Please can you circulate this amongst the forums to raise awareness. The more the people that participate, the higher we can drive the price of silver. I will be putting £2000 into PSLV but any amount will contribute to it.

PB, I guess I am glass half full and you are glass half empty....errr, actually cracked glass sort of guy. Anyway you slice it, and just applying simple maths of +5.9% X $1750, -2.4% of $26 leads to a much bigger increase $ wise over Q420 and massively over Q120. We are not in the business of counting gold or silver ounces. We are in the business of generating $.

There is some truth about big boys not holding/buying. It is because they are chasing other commodities like uranium, copper. Volume is high because the drop has caused buyers to flood back in.

JMT, agreed. After 3 month of sustained rally in the PM prices, the attention will turn back to miners again. This is always the case. Right now, there is uncertainty on what feds will do interest rates wise and also very little trend data for inflation just yet. Once inflation trend is confirmed and feds still reluctant to raise interest, then gold will fly.

Bear in mind though, with this month's gold figures, it shows it is very possible to get to 900koz for the year. Juanicipio coming onstream in Q4 plus they will have all this time to really put in to streamline the facilities.... should come on with a bang.

Personally, I am excited and encouraged by the numbers especially gold. As suspected, I think they were overly cautious at the last production report. I will just give you some scenarios based on today's PM prices. $26 silver and $1750 gold.

1- At the lower end of their gold and silver outlook, we will have a revenue of $2.67b which when compared to 2020 revenue of $2.43b, is good but not spectacular but remembering even with $2.43b, we still generated EBITDA of $1.17b!

2- At the upper end of the guidance, we will have revenue of $2.83b. $400m over 2020!

3- This is the interesting part: If we used Q1 gold and x4, we get to 892 koz and sticking with silver guidance, we get to $3.15b! This is $720m over 2020 and would give us net profits in excess of $1b a year!

Should gold and silver prices rally from here.... well I shudder to think.....

This is a very good report. Gold prod is way up over last year. If you simply x4 the number, gold will almost be 900koz. Huge. Seriously undervalued

There probably isn't anyone buying today to wait on the Q1 production figures plus the sector is getting hit. I have been studying the volume pattern of this share for a little while. So this is what I think happens.

When the volume is low, the MMs walk the price down to tempt people to buy so they accumulate stock along the way. When buyers enter the market, they very quickly run out of stock and the price runs up very quickly because they run out of stock and need to keep increasing the price to tempt people to sell. We have seen this before. When the volume returns in a meaningful manner, it can pop up very quickly because this is not a widely traded stock.

My comment that there is some volume was clearly over optimism and wishful thinking rolled into one lol. Volume is only marginally higher. Not high enough to be meaningful.

The PM mining sector is taking a back stage because the great value rotation has somehow excluded this sector. There is deep value now in here without a doubt so when things start becoming less certain again and investors and holding back from chasing hot sectors and move into safe havens, we will start rising. It is risk on. We profit from risk off.

There will no doubt be another record year of financials for this sector and sooner or later, they will take note.

There is some volume last couple of hours so bodes well for tomorrow.

Sharem, you could well struggle to get it plus 20% is a big hit. I think most direct way to do this is still to buy PSLV which to my knowledge draws off comex. Most legitimate physical etf there is.

Having said that, physical is the ultimate because there is no counterparty. If there isn't that VAT issue, I would be buying now. I hear Costco sells them.

Sharem, so the message is for 100,000 people to buy 100oz of silver on May 1st and squeeze comex. At current prices, this is less than £2000. They are organising this on Reddit and the twitter channel.

When I first started following Wallstreetsilver on reddit, they had around 18k followers. Now they have 63k and countless more on twitter. I don't think it is beyond the realms and for the sake of £2000, I am going to be counted and see where this gets us. 100k people? Easy.

I will stick £2000 into PSLV this Friday April 30th. Sit back and watch it explode haha.....

I agree real rates is the key driver for gold. Couple of things at play with Fres I believe and most of it I have mentioned in bit and pieces in the past here.
- Production expectations have not been exceeded
- PM miners bull typically starts several months after the gold bull. A sign this bull run nears the end is when juniors go ballistic which we didn't get in the charge up to gold $2000 in Aug. I am sticking to this and will fully bail out of this when junior miners start going up steeply.
- FTSE100 is very unloved

When Fres powers up, it will do so very swiftly like when it went up from 800p to 1300s. It didn't catch a breadth.

PB, Hochschild pretty much same boat as we are though. They also have production issue although it could be argued that theirs is worse than ours.

Fres will never get bought. Forget it. 75% owned by Penoles and they have no interest to sell unless stupid price. Almost like a family business that.

Yesterday had the hallmark of a large stop getting triggered. As you said, with PM prices where they are, no one would sell at 900p unless distressed. Looking at the volume profile, bulk of the selling happened in a 2-3min period. This is the theory I am leaning to due to the above. If it was insider info, the selling pattern would be more drawn out and sustained.

If PMs perks up from here, I think we could be due a big rise.

But then of course, this is Fres and it has been particularly frustrating of late. Almost unbelievable.

We will soon find out if this was a distress sale flash crash/tree shake or an insider clearing when the production report come out. We will then know what sort of shenanigans is being played around this share.

It looks to me like the price got walked down in very thin volume and then a large stop got hit. The volume spiked right up at the flash crash or there was a big seller in the fold. There is definitely something fishy going on. Either production continues to be problematic and the news was leaked out or it was an effort by MMs to drive this down. Polymetal is up today but HOC is down similar to Fres. Miners in general are down but only by a little. This drop is definitely manufactured to either shake people off their position or someone has been tipped off on production issues. Regardless, even if that is the case, time surely will rectify this because I am confident in Fres' ability to overcome production issues.

You need to hold on the record date to be paid the dividend. So the question is, who is selling today? I never understood why the record date and the ex date is not the same.
