What I find a little more intriguing about the FT piece is that a couple of years ago when RG was at the helm and the BOD were getting some flack for lack of publicity, he stated that he had a journalist on standby who worked for the FT and that when the time was right they would release news via this source ( can’t remember his name ) . The article itself is not telling us anything we don’t already know but it will draw awareness and with so much news due then maybe It could be linked and hopefully we may start to see some more positive news flow .
Regarding the lack of publicity- RG also said a few years ago that Scancell are not selling to the public they are selling the industry and we may not like that fact but over the years they have been doing exactly that , look how far this little Bio has come with nothing more than skeleton staff and the science could be and from what I’ve learnt the science IS todate very exciting with enormous potential.
Lindy and her team have been plugging away on the science and have had papers published , no doubt peer reviews and managed to achieve collaborations with some impressive partners and some even more impressive individuals and imo this is exactly how they should be progressing. Don’t get me wrong I don’t like a sp at 5p anymore than any other holder and the sooner we get back into double figures + the better and Deadly I wouldn’t worry about waiting for sub 5p if you can buy at 5.30 because it won’t make a lot of difference if we shoot back upto 30p+ Or dare I say fall to 2.5p but if you believe in the science and company then imo a market cap of 20 mill is crazy low , as an example I am invested in a company that is producing a skin cream and that is going through testing/ trials and that has a higher Mcap ! That’s Aim !

Completely agree and have similar plan in place but do not expect to execute it but happy to take the opportunity if it arises !
I wouldn’t however leave any money in Val though ( way to dangerous ) imo it’s a trading company.

Not to open up the discussion about funding again but we have been told that the funding (£8mill+ ) raised last year was sufficient to start the combi trial and Modi trial but not to finish them , they also stated in an interview that it should last into 2020 , we are half way through 2019 so any possible raise in May or June is a tad early imo even if the Bod do raise early ! If we do not have funding sorted by Sept / Oct then yes the likelihood is we could be faced with some form of dilution , however with our combi trial starting in a matter of weeks plus a potential licensing deal coming from Biontech anytime I am still in the frame of mind that the funding will get sorted in a manner that share holders will be happy with .
Yes to date we have raised funds in a dilutive manner but past history is no indication of future performance.

Also If we are fortunate enough to get significant news this week from the conference I wouldn’t bet against an intra day RNS , Scancell also seem to release news at 7am but this week could be different so I will be keeping a closer eye out this week.
We know the collaboration is going well and Cliff did say they are working extremely hard and still lots to do so if nothing does come this week it certainly doesn’t mean it’s not coming anytime soon . I would like to think they have had enough time ( 15 mths ish ) to assess all relevant information .

Some good posts today and have been for a few weeks now .
Does anyone know who is attending the conference this week from Scancell? I am quite happy asking JC if no one else has .
Next week really could be interesting as we know the likes of Genentech , Biontech and Ichor are all attending and not forgetting Takeda for a little bit of “left field “ news , they are attending a Partnering and Education conference the very month our Biontech collaboration possibly runs its course and we know they have first dibs on a licensing deal - it is also possible nothing will come of it or we could get an extension but also considering Biontech IPO later this year they will want as much publicity as possible so I wouldn’t bet against some significant news .
After nearly 7 yrs here I think I will probably pass out if that RNS finally arrives and I can see a profit ! Won’t sell cheap though !

Instead the long-term investors use a couple of simple strategies in order to position themselves. One is to find a stock no one immediately sees has huge potential and accumulate. Long-term investors are not interested in trading against the public mind or the dumb money. That's where the majority of the money can be made but even more can be made if the base of a stock is held extremely strong by investors. However the second is not to doubt the research which is the underlying basis for going long and holding.

Pretty much but on nex my buy was 5.499 and someone bought 35k at 5.5 so going in right direction .

Yeah was going to wait but it’s been slowly ticking up today and last couple of days , don’t like the spread but that could just be MM’s trying to slow the buying if they are short .
A lot of news due and hopefully a few bits that could be transformational .
Have to wait and see but each day that goes by is a day closer and I am def in the positive camp .

I don’t post very often but I do follow Val and have invested 3 or 4 times over the years and have been awaiting another opportunity which unfortunately has never materialised.
I have just read your post and feel compelled to reply - your obviously an intelligent person but for the life of me I can not see why you constantly think that if someone says something negative about Val they want the SP down , honestly no one needs to help as the BOD are incredibly proficient at doing this themselves .
I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who has lost money whilst invested here as I only know that feeling too well but I would suggest reading back through Roses posts and when you have start reading them again and then again ! Roses imo speaks a lot of sense and knows what he / she is talking about and just as importantly knows the company .
Sorry if you take this the wrong way and that was not my intention but you obviously have a lot invested here and you are in serious danger of loosing the lot .
Imo the company has not done anything illegal and therefore incredibly difficult to prove anything underhanded has taken place however if you can prove GM did actually always intend fleecing the company and running it into the ground then you have something to work on !

Nice to see another blue day and a decent enough rise ! Don’t want to tempt fate but maybe sentiment is beginning to return and about time .
We have 387 million shares in issue ( not inc options ) and I think we have approx 100 million in Institutional investors ( exc City Financial ) And BOD leaving a free float of about 287 million which really is not that much , baring in mind a few LTH’s have been accumulating / holding / trading for a few years and tend to be in stickier hands therefore I can see this moving very very quickly with the right news or if we are seeing sentiment returning we could see a nice gradual rise over the coming weeks .
Lindy and Richard have approx 15 million shares in an “ employee benefit trust “ ( EBT ) can someone tell me if these shares are already accounted for in the 387 million ( I think they are ) or in addition ? ( like options ) ?

This was pretty much what I expected the answer to be , just wanted clarification- so what we are saying is we are now making what is already a very potent vaccine technology even more potent without the need for a third party tie up!

Dumb question time - I’m assuming it is Lindy and team who are developing the Nanotechnology for Scib 2 ? Therefore we would no longer need to licence this technology from a third party I.e Ichor . Crumbs you mentioned this in an earlier post but just want to make sure I’m right .
Also Moditope and nanotechnology? Possible ?

Came across this and it gives you a better idea of what nanotechnology drug delivery system is all about - have to confess didn’t read all 34 pages but have a much better understanding reading the first half dozen or so , il leave all 34 pages to our resident techo’s !
Either way it’s very very clever and we are right up there with groundbreaking technology imo .
