Hi Bunsie,
I’ve spent 8 yrs building a holding , I never intended to hold as many as I do but as the science got better and better and the sp kept falling (because of delays and funding etc) , it just seemed a no brainier for me , had the science failed in some manner I would have changed tack but because it hasn’t I’ve kept buying !
I felt that eventually we would have our day and more recently it seems big Pharma have been coming around to our way of thinking So for me it just seemed inevitable and Just a matter of time !
I’m not a trader by heart but if I think there is an opportunity then I will , and like Ruck , i only tend to trade 5-10 % at anyone time so Plenty left .
The danger is that the downs are small but the upside has the potential to be huge , only making an extra 1k shares ( nice as it is ) hardly seems worth it ! I expected a larger drop today and was looking for a smaller spread but it never appeared while I was around .
I am sure we will do very well .

Scancell have a habit of releasing news at 7am but of course that can’t be taken as gospel, so am happy to take a little flutter is I think there is an opportunity, sometimes we win sometimes we lose but on the whole it’s been ok .
For me - if I have trading pot of 50 or 100k shares and news drops and doubles (as you say Ruck ) then any gain I have made could in effect be lost ( if my trading pot is out ) however if I am fully loaded at the end of each day and a cracker of an RNS lands at 7am then I’ve maximised my earnings , plan does not work if a midday RNS drops tho !
It’s all horses for courses but I totally agree with what you say and what Inanaco has said for years “ it’s all about the number you hold ! “

Change of tactics for me , I have a Small trading pot and fair holding but my trading pot is now In . I will just day trade if I see a opportunity, sold 50k this morning and just bought back 51k ! Only a small gain but 1k more than I had .
Too much potential price positive news due to be out ! IMO .

Hope best case comes to the fore but happy with any combination to start to be honest , except the worse case of course !

I get many will top slice , it’s usually the right thing to do considering we have increased 250-300% and if I was new to Scancell then I expect I would do the same and that’s because I wouldn’t get the science and where Scancell fit within the market of big pharma etc but like many LTH’s it has taken me a long time to appreciate the possible scale of this little bio and how much it really could be worth .
The Sp has taken a bit of a spanking over the last few years but that’s not been a reflexion on the science/ IP , Infact find me a bad RNS on the science ! the Sp has gone down but the IP has grown and probably a lot more than we could ever have hoped .
The market is waking up but IMO not awoken just yet .
I think it was Crumbs who posted a link and it was discussed recently that our first Avidimab deal could consist of Single digits upfront payment followed by maybe 200-300 milestone payments and possible single digit royalties, so if that was the case how would the market value that ? We will hopefully find out soon enough but my best guess is not 16p ! Not forgetting two or three similar deals could follow shortly after ! That’s why imo the market is beginning to get our potential !

I think there is a very good chance of getting a licensing deal from all 4 collaborations ! This is my opinion but I would imagine a few LThs may agree .
I am awaiting the AGM RNS , I believe this could be very telling on timelines of our first deal , last year it was 12th Sept and 30th Oct 2018 , I believe we had it early last year and it’s normally held in Oct but I am sure the BOD would want an AGM with a deal already in the bag . IMO only .

Our first collaboration was Sept last year , so has now run its full 12 mths . In a recent interview Cliff Holloway said we are in advanced talks with a global company and he expects to notify the market within the next month or maybe two ( I personally got the impression he added the “ or two “ to be on the safe side ) , that interview was 27th Aug so we are already nearly 3 weeks in . The other two collaborations were mid Dec and mid Jan this year and all end with the opportunity for a licensing deal .
We also await the potential licensing deal with Biontech TCR , this collaboration has been going on since Jan 2018 , we know it was delayed by 6 mths but we also know it was going well so no reason to think we won’t end up with a deal .
Plus trails plus Covidity ! What’s not to like .
This reminds me a bit of GGP - I was in at 2.5 p and for the life of me I sold out at 7 ish ( I don’t usually sell completely out but I did ) and that was because I looked at the MC and could not see it rising further! How wrong was I ! We have reached a MC today of approx 100 million and plenty I’m sure will think along the same lines but like Crackin said this has legs yet !
It’s been a good time for LTH’s and may it continue, which I’m sure it will .

Do we know where the US trial Centers are for our Scib1 combination study are ? I’ve tried searching on Scancell site but that just takes you through to Cancer research uk and only Nottingham is showing .
I had a message from a friend who lives in the US and she has a friend with stage 4 Melonoma and thought I would send her some info .

Great endorsement for the whole of Scancell . Could get very interesting now with so much news to come , we know we are in advanced talks for our first licensing deal so maybe the market it’s waking up to Sclp .

Kernowlad , Aim listed companies now qualify for CGT relief if held within an Isa but LL specifically mentioned that her shares need to be held for two years before they were IHT exempt , this sounds like BPR but just wanted to check in case I’m missing something, which is quite possible!

Just catching up on some posts - LL your post at 13.47 yesterday you mentioned the avoidance of having to pay inheritance tax if you have held the shares for two years or more ! Are you talking about Business property relief ? Or is there another inheritance tax exemption I am not aware of ?

Appreciate your reply and I suppose we will just have to wait and see , I will just be glad to see a deal get over the line . I remember RG saying after the 2015 AGM fiasco “ investors will need to be patient “ didn’t expect to have to wait 5+ yrs ! But we are in a great place now and the future looks very exciting .

Always good to hear your point of view . I would be interested to know what you think we could achieve in terms of type of deal and value ? I think it was crumbs who mentioned some time ago that 10 mill seemed to be the going rate but I can’t remember if that was per target etc . If you don’t think it could be a full blown licensing deal how do you think it could be structured?

It would be fantastic to finally see our first licensing deal and finally prove to the market we have a product that the big boys are prepared to pay for .

Have to agree with Dragon , I would be surprised if we get more than our allotted amounts , nice if we do , every one can afford to buy their allocation unless they have sold out ! ( d puller ) .
The question is will the sp drop to below 5.5p by the 12th Aug or not ? If today is anything to go by then prob not and that is why I bought more today !
