Congrats on your news , good news indeed ! It does sound like life has more positives for you at the mo and long may it continue.
Have to agree with Dragon , I would be surprised if we get more than our allotted amounts , nice if we do , every one can afford to buy their allocation unless they have sold out ! ( d puller ) .
The question is will the sp drop to below 5.5p by the 12th Aug or not ? If today is anything to go by then prob not and that is why I bought more today !

No Scancell spin off .
The second line indicates your entitlement for this OO ( open offer ) , the current fund raise was made up of 3 elements , a placing , Cln’s and an open offer .
Because you have a holding in Sclp you have been invited to to buy more at 5.5 p , the second line in your account shows how many you are entitled to and this was worked out by dividing your current holding by 51 and then multiplying that by 4 ( you are entitled to 4 shares for every 51 you own ) .
It’s upto you if you wish to purchase your entitlement but if the current share price continues to stay above 5.5 p it a guaranteed winner , you could buy your shares for 5.5p and sell them straight away ( after 12th which is the closing date ) .
Your new shares will not become tradeable until after the closing date .
I expect most holders will take up their entitlement or ask for more but that is just my opinion but with so much news due we could continue to increase in sp just on sentiment .

I personally think the upside now heavily outweighs the down , the funding was hanging over us but now we have enough funding in place for two years we may not need any future placings and this isn’t even taking into consideration any potential licensing deals of which there could be a few . Who would have thought after all this time it could be like buses ! Biontech TCR , AvidiMab x3 , Covidity and trials next year . My prediction this time next year we will be no where near 6p and it will all start soon .
C7 - never expected to hold what I hold , very much like yourself ! But over the years the science has just got better and better , granted the delays have been long but I can handle delays for the right reasons and that is why I have been happy to continue to buy on the dips .

Normally I would agree that once an OO has been offered it makes complete sense to sell at a higher price and buy back your entitlement at a lower price , after all most of the time the Sp follows shortly after so it’s a win win . However I’m going to put my neck on the block and say that this time I think the price will rise not fall leading up to completion date ( approx 2 weeks ) .
Various reasons but mainly because we have so much news that could potentially drop at anytime any which could have a significant impact on the sp , my guess would be that they announce non dilutive funding/partnering for Covidity which could land in the next two weeks , I don’t think our first commercial deal will land so soon but I do believe it won’t be too far behind considering we are in advanced talks , Scib 2 has been mentioned again so maybe news soon enough there !
The share price is holding reasonably well considering a few holders will have sold to take up their entitlement, MM’s seem to need shares and we seem to have a buyer about , I’m not saying we don’t have sellers but I think currently there are more buyers !
I am entitled to roughly 165k which if I sold today would have returned me roughly £10k , to buy them back at 5.5p would pocket me roughly £1100 ( nice for not doing a lot ) but if Covid funding drops in the next 2 weeks and the share price doubles I’ve lost £10k ( rough figures ) .
Either way I will take up my entitlement but will leave the decision for a bit .
I would be interested to hear others thoughts though !

Well I can only see this as good news , the fact that Nottingham and Bristol are being discussed at high levels only increases our chances of funding imo , I am not even suggesting that we wouldn’t have received funding before as I believe we stood a good chance , but now I would suggest there is a higher chance .
From memory Ray posted a link that showed the second round of funding applications closes month end so I personally did not expect to find out about our application till sometime next month .

I noticed on the CRUK site that our combination study recruitment is due to end next month (19.08), is this date set in stone by the regulators? I assume this can be extended due to Covid , this will obviously only be the Uk arm of the trial .
Drac - imo , the likelihood of some sort of deal / partnership which will have a huge positive effect on the Sp in the next 12 mths is high , I personally think it’s likely to be a lot sooner ! We have so much going on and I don’t think the Bod planned it this way but lots of significant news could come in a very short time frame - I thought this year was going to be very interesting but never expected anything like Covid to get in the way , however Covid could actually benefit us considerably! It could validate our approach and cause a lot of interest .
John Chiplin said at the 2016 AGM “ large pharma are a little like oil tankers , they set off in one direction but when they need to change direction it takes an age “ , I think Inan was trying to explain that we believe they are coming around to our way of thinking and their fore our science , he was imo posting articles explaining why certain other approaches are not as effective as our science will hopefully prove to be .
Our Immunobody ( Scib1) results came out when big pharma had had a very high profile vaccine failure and it put big pharma off vaccines , they looked at other avenues and this was when checkpoint inhibitors / combination studies became all the rage , so little ol Scancell had a extremely good dna vaccine but large pharma where not looking and it was for this reason why we decided to run the combination trial .
It seems to me that Inanaco is showing that pharma are now back looking at vaccines which tells me (imo ) that just because we have not had a deal so far , does not mean one or more are not coming !
I personally believe that deals/ partnerships will happen but trying to predict when ? Anyone’s guess !

I attended the 2016 AGM and from memory Lindy said that they have had a great deal of interest in Moditope but one of their biggest complaints was the dosage required , Lindy went back to the lab and with the help of Isa pharmaceuticals manage to reduce the dosage x100 , so now we have a final working patented product It only makes logical sense to me that which ever pharma Lindy was in discussions with , will now show their hand !

Cutting edge science , never been done before and a slight stall in manufacturing the vaccine ! I had faith but always good to hear “completion “ , so Lindy has worked tirelessly on her baby for 8 yrs to develop the best version she can , toxicology and manufacture completed , only leaves how we are going to fund the trial now ? With the patent approval ( highly likely ) info found by Konrad yesterday and manufacture news today then I wouldn’t be surprised to find out shortly we have a new partner who will fund our trail .aimo .

Am very excited about this RNS , it has taken 8 yrs to develop and now we are clinic ready , the manufacture of the vaccine was a concern for me but that’s done . It may have taken longer than we wanted or expected but things could get very interesting now . It may not feel that significant of an RNS but it’s a very significant piece of the puzzle - for me anyway .

I am expecting good news to come in before any raising ! Does not make sense to me to raise before Good news , we are not desperate for money and could happily last till later in the year ! We have potentially loads of positive good news to come and only really a fund raise ( that we are aware of ) that some could say is negative, so in my mind the upside hugely out ways the down and at 6 p there is not a lot of down but could be a very big up !
Time will tell !
