A good reminder of the professional quality involved in our Modi 1 trial ! I was very surprised to read that Southampton was not being used considering our link via Professor Christian Ottensmeier , anyone have any thoughts as to why ? In fact anyone care to share how certain hospitals are chosen ?

We were floating around 20 p for the last 12 mths or so until people thought covid was done and dusted ( which is clearly not the case ) ! Now we have three trials up and running or imminently .
Anyone get the feeling partnerships could well be like buses !?

I would imagine a lot of LTH’s aren’t too concerned with the current share price , would obviously prefer it to be higher but we have been in a far worse position than we are today . Our lowest sp was about 3p , we had little to no money in the bank , no trials running or even close to starting , now we have 2 trials running , our flagship trial due to start any day (month or year ) a lot of LTH’s have taken advantage and have been able to average down and now have averages around this current price .
I get the impression that this was a bit of a punt for you ? Buying at 28 p last year and losing 15k at 22p !

I would like to think that we may get a RNS this week stating Covidity enrolment complete for phase 1 patients , I hope they will inform us so that we can see progress is happening. The last update was 31st Jan with 16 enrolled to date , with approx 6 hoping to be injected p/w then I hope all 40 are either jabbed or very close .
We may even get a Modi 1 first patient dosed RNS , That would be nice !

One thing that has crossed my mind is Lindy recently mentioned ( for the first time ) that there is a possibility of selling Covidity along with the immunobody platform if proven successful ! Does anyone know where this would leave our current immunobody trial with Keytruda ?
If they do decide to sell then maybe my favourite to buy would be Merck ? It could be a double whammy, the possibility of potentially doubling their earnings in Pembrolizumab sales and a very significant position in current and future covid treatments !
It’s going to be very interesting going forwards from here and so many permutations.

I certainly do and I wouldn’t be at surprised if the “left field “ news was in fact Covidity and maybe the Chinese put in at low ball offer on our Avidimab platform , I don’t suppose we will ever know . I also remember when Richard Goodfellow said “ sale of immunobody for multiples of current share price “ which was 30p ( from memory) at the time !
There have been a few quotes over the last decade that have not come to fruition but I genuinely think those days are behind us , Scancell ( to me ) feels like a completely different company , with so much potential and the market will one day wake up , that’s been said a few times as well !
I am happy with what is going on and happy with my knowledge of Scancell and I do believe any investor today could do extremely well .
I hope it pays off for you ( us ) .

I couldn’t agree more , potentially having one solution to the sh*t storm in world economics right now could be incredibly lucrative , certainly not saying a cure for covid would sort out all of FIAT currencies issues but it would certainly give it a good boost , even if a temporary fix !
I still find it strange and sometimes hard to believe that Scancell could be an answer to covid and that this is something that the whole world needs and now !
2022 is going to be a very interesting year and I am sure we will have our ups and downs but for myself I am hopeful that Sclp could be some form of a hedge against all sorts of economic woes we will endure in the coming years .
Mix in Moditope and Avidimab and we really could have a very very potent mix , either way it’s going to be interesting to see where we go from here . I certainly wouldn’t bet against Lindy and her team .
I will be having another little top up soon and will sit back and watch and if the markets turn and we drop I will just see it as another opportunity.
Not long to wait now though !

I haven’t listened to last nights presentation yet but after reading some of the messages on this board it did stand out to me that Lindy must be very positive about Moditope to consider selling the entire Covidity / immunobody platform , It certainly won’t be sold cheaply that’s for sure ! Guesses anyone ?

I’ve been here 9 yrs ! Nearly a decade ! If it’s taught me one thing it’s patience , I’m sure it will all be worth it in the end but we are a completely different company now and looking good imo .

Apologies, I have just had another listen and your right , however I clearly remember her stating “ post phase 1 “ which that presentation does not state , therefore I will have to dig around and find out where I heard that .
Either way it’s my belief Lindy will be in advance talks and hopefully we will hear soon .

Lindy stated in her presentation to OXT share holders than they are looking for a partnership after ph1 , as we don’t yet know all the details like number of patients etc , my guess would be between now and year end !
We would have to assume , like you say , that talks are in an advanced state ! After all the BOD is not going to get to the end of phase 1 and then start thinking about holding some discussions .

This is just my opinion and before anyone asks , no I do not have any actual experience in launching and proving a vaccine !

Great post as always Burble , our platforms were once described to me that they were like “ snap on tools “ you could in affect send our vaccine back to the lab and easily alter it to attack another target !

I appreciate that is an extremely simple analogy but it helped with my understanding at the time !

Sounds like we a similar position to myself , I’m sitting on free crypto shares and happy to see what happens there , agree regarding the system fighting back ! I hold a few here and happy either way but feel the crypto shares might see a better return here currently, the next modi Rns will probably make that decision for me - I just want confirmation that the delivery system is sorted . Looking good here though .

Very tempted to sell my crypto stocks and pile it in here ! One good Rns and this will get very interesting. A lot of LThs with strong hands only make the MM’s job harder to get shares .
