After a rise like this I would normally drop a few expecting a pullback especially if a RNS drops but this feels different and with our buyer/s they will just hoover your shares , trading this now for me is a no but any dip I expect will be bought into .

3 trading days since our nice rise and no pullback , no 100k sells ! Don’t want to tempt faith but maybe our seller is done , usually on any rise we have seen a sell off but not this time !

Sorry but this my point - no promises have been made past or present , I get targets have been missed and it’s frustrating but there is a difference in terminology between using words like “ looking to achieve “ , “ we expect “ etc and Promise !

Can anyone post a link or statement from Scancell that uses the word Promise ? I will be more than happy to be corrected and will happily apologise .

Appreciate what you are saying but think it’s important to point out that as far as I know no one from Scancell has “promised “ anything. That word is used by various people and imo is just incorrect.

A sensible price for the entire platform & covidity ? That’s tough and I’m sure everyone has their own valuations but when you consider our Genmab deal for a pre clinical single product could be worth in excess of £500 million then at a minimum for me it would be double that + for all the reasons discussed this morning when you consider the size of the market, patent cliffs etc !

This is just my guess but if the Bod have decided to sell the platform then the question is when do they think is the optimum time to do so ? We know we need data , we now have data ! It’s unlikely / won’t progress to a phase 3 and covidity has been parked so end of phase 2 seems to be the optimum time for me !

Time will tell but it’s looking very good at the mo !

Let’s not forget that it wasn’t that long ago that Lindy did mention the possibility of selling the entire platform!

I’ve thought for a while that Immunobody + covidity will be sold off in it’s entirety which will takes away any money concerns , for them to then concentrate on Avidity and Moditope!

Remember it well and this feels very similar! From memory we went from around 35p pre Agm to eventually bottom out around 3.5p for various reasons .

I’m not worried but I do understand why some might be , times like these are real testers and eat away at your brain ! We listen to people who come across with credibility and make rash decisions and mostly come to regret those decisions.

The most frustrating part of all this is after 10 yrs + is it felt like finally we were getting our just reward for it to only vanish again (temporarily hopefully) and I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way .

Our seller / s will sell and we will bounce back when they are done but until then we are just going to have to ride the storm !

Moditope has not failed that some like to imply - far from it and way too early to be thinking along those lines imo .

Has the “Market” conveniently forgotten about our deal that was recently signed ? You know the one that’s worth potentially upto $625 million which only yesterday was confirmed that it was going well , granted we don’t know when milestones will pay but one milestone has the potential to be worth more than our current MC !

Didn’t think I would ever be back in this position but this is pretty much my avg and my trigger finger is getting itchy again !

I remember buying around the 4p mark constantly questioning if I was missing something and why the market wasn’t , did they know something I didn’t ?

It takes guts to back yourself and I certainly believe this will come good but this is certainly becoming ( yet again ) a great looking opportunity!

I understand the frustration and yes Scancell could be better with some of their communications but I dont think we can lay all the blame at the Bod’s feet .
We are in unprecedented times , a financial war as well as Ukraine between the East and West , extremely high inflation, interest rates increasing, cost of living crisis , strikes etc and as a result people become more conservative or cautious with their money ! many including myself will alter their portfolio accordingly, i sold near on a million shares a few months ago as a result of the above and I’m sure I am not the only one , Not forgetting we had a big holder who sold into any rise ( Calculas from memory) which kills momentum .

The wait for that killer RNS is a killer in itself ! We know the their is sooo much potential here but nothing currently is ever good enough to get us off the ground for any substantial time but I do have faith and continue to hold and hope that one day soon we will get that Rns and the market will not be able to ignore Sclp anymore.
Was it at the Agm where Lindy said “ we have so very exciting news but will update the market is due course !” ( or words to that affect) ? This could very well be that killer RNS !

I think I may have picked up his shares , if you wouldn’t mind thanking him for me ! ;-) .
Seriously though they were tough times , a few LTH’s already had sizeable holdings at that point and deciding to buy more around 4p was due to my total belief in Lindy and her team , nothing for me had changed in that regard but now the company is in a much stronger position and the science continues to prove itself .
Dropping from 27p-18p is just a dip , normal ups and downs but if you believe this will do well then we stay the course and ignore the fud !

I agree , The BOD will by now have a very good idea of what course of action they will take for each platform based on the incoming results and therefore I would like to see a planned release into the market .
Assuming the updates are positive I would prefer Modi update early Jan to really excite the market , allow that to sink in for a few days then update on Scib1 and then follow up with Covidity results plus possible partnership . Not forgetting the possibility of an additional Avidimab deal at somepoint as well .
If it pans out anything like this then I certainly won’t mind the updates being a few days late .

I agree but like KonarA pointed out the numbers could be considerable considering no Checkpoint inhibitors approved in some of the indications. I am certainly not suggesting Scancell should charge but just trying to understand how this may work .
If this happens it would be a win win ! Scancell gets all that invaluable clinical data , patients get Modi 1 and we share holders will be very happy because this will only happen if The trial is successful.

I would be interested to know how this would work if anyone knows ?
I am assuming Modi would be purchased ? if this was to happen then by who ? NHS ? Or individual hospital trusts ?
At what point would does Modi 1 demonstrate clinical benefit and therefore allow usage outside of the clinical trial ?

For any newbie trying to understand the excitement here , the paragraph below implies that patients 2&3 could very well be following in patient 1’s success who we already now has a 55% tumour reduction and it’s still very early days for patient 1 . Seeing a “delayed hypersensitivity response “ implies T cell activity and therefore leading onto tumour reduction.
If this is shown to be the case we could very well be looking at bulky tumour reduction in all 3 patients or 3/3 !

all three patients showed a delayed type hypersensitivity response to the vaccine, which is indicative of a T cell response, and the first patient to be assessed has shown a partial tumour response at first radiological reassessment.'

There are certainly no guarantees and yes this is aim but I am actually happier backing Lindy and her team having part of my pension (Sipp) than relying on pension funds at the moment, after all millions of people nearly lost their final salary pensions only 10 days ago and they are far from “out of the woods “ yet ! These are strange times !

You can also look at the Rns dated 15-02-2018 regarding ISA pharmaceuticals collaboration , a snippet below from that Rns which should hopefully help.
We are ( as far as I am aware ) still unaware of what the upfront and milestone payments are / were .

Under the terms of this agreement, ISA has granted Scancell an exclusive worldwide license to manufacture, develop and commercialise the AMPLIVANT®:Modi-1 conjugate therapy and will contribute know-how and expertise related to AMPLIVANT®. Clinical studies will be conducted by Scancell and are expected to commence in H1 2019.



In return, ISA will receive an upfront payment from Scancell and is entitled to milestone and royalty fees following achievement of certain criteria as defined in the agreement. Financial details were not disclosed.
