I added this morning at 71.1p - for me the share price is still low based on the estimated sum of the parts - inflation now falling pdq and interest rates will follow - better environment for business should lead to an uptick in advertising - lets see

Well done to all the lth's on here today - maybe a corner has been turned - I was watching the live ticker during the last 10 minutes of trade on IG Index and it was positive momentum into the close - I am wondering if there is anticipation or indeed knowledge of some possitive press coments over the weekend?? - good weekend all - as I am now back in the black with VOD an extra g and t for me and Mrs C before dinner tonight is in order -

Cutting the divi makes complete sense to me - it eliminates the divi not affordable stick to beat VOD with going forward - hopefully the market will agree - lets see

"with respect Carrington...it kind of points to the preference and demand for fixed-income , rather than maybe the uncertain volatility of Equities" - Disagree Poker - the coupon is relatively low which in itself shows confidence in the EZJ business going forward, - the expected rating is baa2 (stable) and BBB (positive) - that doesn't infer future equity volatility in terms of EZJ - if the coupon was plus 5pct I would be concerned but it isn't -

I just had a quick look at the London Stock Exchange RNS updates for ITV and I cannot see one notifying a share purchase by ITV yesterday - I was under the impression that an RNS would show the following day if any purchases were made by 730am - worrying for shorts if this is the case

Said on here yesterday that advertising woes had been exaggerated - money going into itvx and itv studios makes sense - funnel money into things that make money - citibank value 3b last year for itv studios alone - add onto that the concessions for uk film and tv studios announced yesterday makes this a massive target imo - anyone in their right minds will not be selling this share anytime soon - follow the money

Fantastic results - broker upgrades will surely follow in due course which will imo add to the share price - dividend reinstated - going back into the 250 index gives greater exposure and will attract funds - momentum now firmly with Kier - for me this goes higher - follow the money

45p a share downside, really? - that would imply an mcap of 1.82b - Citibank were saying ITV Studios alone could be worth as much as 3b only last year - economies picking up, advertising spend will follow -imo - I am selling nothing and will add more if it goes south on Thursday -

MKS has been marked down from January onwards, on the back of the assumption that they would not be able to maintain their grocery sales after the Chrismas period had finished as that is what traditionally has happened, but this is not the case as these figures show - I added last month and will continue to add on weakness - MKS has significant momentum here, not just in food but also in clothing - momentum is a powerful thing - Just ask Waitrose, which has been decimated by Marks recently - a rerate will come down the pipe here imho - patience needed until the next set of results
