Big buys on SETS again this morning - looking good guys - gl dyor etc.

Decided to trim a few this morning at 198p on the back of a strong run ahead of the tu on Thursday - a 25pct profit not to be sniffed at with the ftse toppy right now - will either keep the remainder for the dividend or buy back the ones I sold today if the sp drops with significance going forward - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Big well done to all the LTH'S on here (Polish, Paddy etc) patience is a virtue and patience has paid off - 30p looks well and truly behind us now and with the company on a much more stable footing a further move north looks on the cards plus always a chance of a bid at this price - what's not to like - gla dyor etc.

Hi Tawse - for sure US and UK inflation figures will have an impact, they always do as will UK retail sales which have been all over the place during the past 3 or 4 months - I am taking the long term view here as I do with the majority of the shares I own - when I see value I add to my holding - the UK industrial and manufacturing figures were dire a few days ago and an interest rate cut is more or less a certainty next month, the BOE have no alternative imo but to cut regardless of inflation in order to stimulate growth so I am hoping the cut will offsett any negativity with inflation/retail sales - it is impossible to get the absolute bottom with any share, I have only done it once in 30 years! - for me though MKS is pretty near the bottom so I am happy to simply keep adding at these prices - atb - gl and dyor -

I actually added a few more on Friday at 327p - I am down around 7pct atm but not too concerned about the falls and will continue to add on any further weakness - at 299p that would put the mcap at 6.04b - plant, property etc is at 5.4b and cash in hand at 864m so a drop to 299p would be around 4pct below that combined total - likely to attract a predator at that price imho - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Dwam -"Might be heading down to 230p" - so let me get this right, you are saying that MKS might be 31pct down from its current price and moreover 25pct down from its 358p low after world tariffs were anounced by Trump based on the double top of a chart -my first piece of advice to you is find out what the fundamentals are with MKS - based on your assumption the mcap comes in at 4.64b vs 6.76b currently - MKS recovered to 256p AFTER COVID but you are suggesting it could be lower than this at 230p - my second piece of advice to you is stop investing and seek medical help - gl dyor etc.

After the 3 contract wins yesterday I cant believe this is not trading higher purely on fundamentals and forward earnings - should rerate imho - lets see how it goes today - gla dyor etc.

Pogo - Labour never had a plan for growth in the first place - raised 40b and have spent 30b of it on wage rises for the public sector, NHS etc - basic economics tells you if you want growth you need to stimulate the private sector to create the growth not the public sector which creates no growth whatsoever - Starmer and Reeves are two cheeks of the same arse - a spent force which is now unravelling in front of your eyes - gl dyor etc.

Not a great day for MKS today - as it wasn't for UK retail in general - all my retail stocks were down at cop - Greggs had a disaster with their results and fell 15pct which didn't help and uk gilts fell as a result of the Starmer/Reeves show which only added to the gloom - I have added here as I said I would if it fell after the AGM and I am currently down around 6pct atm - not overly concerned as I don't trade I only invest so will continue to add on any further weakness - MKS spending 300m which includes 16 new stores - I wouldn't say that looks like a company that is in trouble - gla dyor etc.
