I bought my first tranche here this morning at 36.2p after waiting for the initial surge to subside - the future looks good for TPT imo with interest rate cuts on the horizon and employment holding up - will be looking to add on any further weakness ready for the full years trading statement on the 1st Oct - gla dyor etc.

MKS being helped this morning by a good read through from the Sainsbury's results and higher BRC Retails - for the rise to continue it will ultimately come down to the AGM today and the impact of the cyber attack - AGM starts at 11am and I will hopefully be attending online - MKS has imv been helped with the summer weather and linen sales seem to be doing very well - so I am hoping for the overall losses to be negated somewhat - will also depend on the tone used by Machin - needs to be upbeat today and concentrate on the positives - imv the narrative of MKS gaining market share on food and clothes has not changed and it still has momentum so if it falls today I will be adding and if it rises I will also be adding - gl dyor etc.

I trimmed a few days ago Phil - results 1st Aug so not surprised to see some shorts reduce for the reasons I gave in an earlier post - for me this will probably go back to the range trade between now and the 1st Aug - 500-540 feels about right for now - if it breaks 5 on the downside I will be adding back the ones I sold - just a waiting game now until the 1st - gl dyor etc.

I think 8 quid could be on the cards here - the sunny weather shows no signs of abating - I was in London yesterday for a lunchtime treat with Mrs C and when we had finished we walked past the Hamilton Hall pub at Liverpool St station and it was absolutely mobbed inside and out - on a Wed afternoon at 330pm - full of tourists who seem to have cottoned on to the lower prices on beer and food at the spoons - gla dyor etc.

Finding resistance around 43/44p - one must ask oneself why is MTI trading at around the same price it was in April BEFORE it won a 1m contract for irrigation and a 1.5m contract extension which pushed the price close to 70p - no reason for the share to be trading at these levels imho - I added some more yesterday at 44.2p - gla dyor etc.

I have been in the banking game for over 30 years and have known some people with a lot of money, and I mean close to billionnaire money - one guy in this category never wore a watch and I asked him why one day and he replied, why do I need a watch? - I don't need to know what time it is - people who have money don't need to brag about it or tell you about it whereas people who have hardly any money feel the need to tell you - I have NEVER put in the amount of money I made in any of my posts, I put a percentage as I believe it is vulgar and unnecessary to state things like this - please check my posts if you don't believe me btw - I have also put when I have screwed up on a share and lost out - which some people on these boards simply cannot do as it would bruise their ego too much - this game is all about getting financial analysis right more than you get it wrong so ffs be honest with yourselves guys rather than bigging yourselves up or criticising others who have got it wrong as it just makes you look stupid - gla dyor etc.

Some big buys gone through on SETS in the last 5 minutes - I think something may be brewing here - lets see if it can be sustained this time - gla dyor etc.

If it were to fall significantly below 5 then I would be buying back the shares I trimmed at 508p - personally I don't think it will but let see - gla dyor etc.
