UBS raises ITV price target to 72 (61) pence - 'sell' - so basically UBS raising their price target by 15pct from 61p to 72p which they have to as the metrics at 61p simply do not add up - then advising their clients to sell - a contradiction in terms - LMFAO - obviously they have clients who are currently short 🤣🤣🤣 - unfortunately some pi's will act on this and sell their holding only to come back a few weeks later to find it has risen by 10pct or so - gla dyor etc.

Good day here and nice to see lth's get some reward for continued patience - added some more at 82p this morning so a nice mark up on those and my current holding - the combined divi around 7.5pct, not too shabby at all in the grand scheme of things - an extra g and t before dinner for me and Mrs C is in order - gl dyor etc.

Casino report next Wed and Coles on the 26th Aug - it will be interesting to see how the cfc's are progressing - if they are going as well as they are in the UK with regards to taking market share then we will imo go higher, a lot higher - gla dyor etc.

Shares up across the board today on the likelihood of a trade deal being agreed between the US and Europe with 15pct tariffs for Europe - that would give more stability to Germany imv as well as the rest of Europe - it takes away any pending risk if the deal is agreed - also takes away uncertainty with any predator looking to bid here - 40p looking good guys - gl dyor etc.

Good solid figures this morning "ITVX, which broke even two years earlier than expected and has already recouped its entire investment" - predetors love stuff like this, no expense going forward just profit - nice - sp looks cheap on fundementals at 83p - I have added this morning - lets see how it goes - gla dyor etc.

Big well done to all the long term holders on here - JDW will begin to dominate the pub sector in the UK going forward, it is playing out in front of your eyes right now - no pub chain can complete on price for food and drink and this will continue imo with JDW taking an ever increasing market share - more upside to come here, maybe some profit taking along with it but the trend for me is up for the mighty JDW and I will be adding to my holding on any significant weakness in the sp going forward - my next target price is 10 quid - gla dyor etc.

Said on here many times, when inflection point occurs and profits are generated you can put 10 quid in front of what the share is now - that time is closing in - funds know it and are nervous of the sp going further north - you only need a little good news now for this to happen - a positive Kroger update, more market share being taken by Ocado UK which looks almost inevitable, another CFC being announced, - any trigger and this goes way higher imho - lets see - by the way where oh where is Valueplay - you couldn't get him off here when the sp was tanking - Valueplay Valueplay come out come out wherever you are! - gla dyor etc.

Key take away from latest grocery figures "Ocado Retail sales, a joint-venture equally owned by London listings Ocado PLC and M&S, sales jumped 12% to GBP704 million. The market share for the online only grocer rose to 2.0% from 1.8%." - Ocado train looks like its about to leave the station - all aboard - gla dyor etc.

With the sp up around 30pct in the last month there was always going to be profit taking here - if it keeps falling I will be looking to add - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Added at 497.6p - happy to keep adding at these prices and will continue to do so on further weakness - gla dyor etc.

Valueplay 29th June with the sp at 229.40 - "Ocados debt pile is weighing heavily given the very few new cfcs being ordered from customers. Given history over recent years there's nothing to suggest a big deal is around the corner for Ocado. Costs will continue to rise. More profits ahead for those short, following the obvious trend." - you have been short for a number of years from what I can see but based on this anyone listening to you and acting on your assumption to remain short at 229p they would now be looking at a 27pct loss 🤡🤡🤡 - gla dyor etc

Savage - I would recommend you caveat your opinions such as "I think sub 500p is inevitable now" with dyor - I do this as an opinion can influence some inexperienced investors to act and if they have done this based on your OPINION they would be well underwater by now - re buy backs - no guarantee this will increase the share price - sure footfall may be on a downtrend for some pubs but not imo with JDW due to the price offering - we will find out soon enough with the tu on wed - gl dyor etc.

Paddy - I am beginning to wonder if there is something more afoot here than just shorts closing - the cosmens last 2 purchases averaged out at around 27p - based on a current sp at just over 38p they have made a 30pct profit - I wonder if they are gearing up for a bid ? - gla dyor etc.

Decided to trim a little here for an 11pct profit before the results later this week - ftse and other uk indices very toppy right now so I am a little on the cautious side atm and at the end of the day 11pct is not too shabby - will look to add these back if the sp falls on results day or alternatively hold the remainder of my holding for the dividend/capital gain if it goes up - gla dyor etc.

Decided to trim the shares I bought in May for 714p at 778p this morning, an overall 8.5pct profit before the tu later this week - I will keep the remainder of my holding and add back the ones sold today if the sp fall significantly on the tu - ftse100 and other UK indices toppy atm which is making me a little cautious going forward - gl for the tu guys - dyor etc.
