RE: Just goes to show, no-one is immune to going under1 Jul 2020 13:19
The facts that you just posted about Cineworld, should be familiar to any CINE investor and are nothing new. Obviously CINE share price is surpressed due to negative sentiment, I don’t think that’s being disputed. There is nothing to say it won’t half again tomorrow or double as it’s all sentiment driven right now. Could CINE go bust? Yes of course, in a worst case scenario they could, but I don’t believe they will.
When you invest during such massive economic uncertainty in the search for a big recovery play, that is the calculated risk you take. You can’t dispute that ‘on paper’ Cineworld is massively undervalued and as long as covid is brought under control, there is a 1-200% return here. But in realty, no one investing in stocks like this are investing in a the company, in truth is we’re all just making a call on how we think covid will unfold.
But my initial point is that you posting info about a company that has folded, that was already in deep trouble prior to covid, bears no relevance. Especially with the headline “just does to show, no one is immune”. Like they were the last company on earth you would expect to fail! This is sensationalising and makes it look like you have an agenda.
Personally I think you have posted some very useful info recently, but rubbish like this undermines it and proves that you have an agenda.
