People are just impatient and think that just because this share didn’t break 40p straight after the rights issue, it must be a con and MM.

We’re in the midst of a global crisis, the whole market has been flat for over a month, the US is dragging the whole market down at current. If you don’t have patience or think it’s a con, then get out and leave this board, it’s that simple.

Personally, given the current market sell offs, I think it’s a positive that we’ve managed to find a level of support around 30p. If people were thinking that this share is going to rally without some sort of positive trading update or other form of positive news, they were deluded in the first place and bought the wrong share.

But we really need the the BOD to release a trading statement that echos this. If superdry sales are still down, we could see a knee low.

Interesting responses guys. I guess we shall wait and see. Personally I agree that cinemas would be busy without new releases. A good roster of family films and cult classics would bring people in I reckon. They’ve only got to buy a months worth of time too.

But whether the Cineworld have the same view is a different matter. Maybe they will open some test sites.

I’m getting concerned about the lack of promo for big releases and the lack of info on CINE website. I prey I’m wrong, but I can see a further push back of opening coming.

PE firms have one objective, to make money. So surely their prime objective to to raise the share price as much as possible. They will quite often do this in an underhand manner that’s not always sustainable, but as long as the price goes and we get our returns, so we care?

£1 quite possibly, in fact that’s what I’m playing towards. But £2 is a fair way off in my opinion, we’d need to see a decent profit and reduced debts before we get anywhere near that level.

Given that it’s a Friday, I have a feeling that profit takers will pull this down before the day is out, it’s been a great week with near 20% gains.

Don’t get me wrong, I think 55p is a very safe long term hold price. But I think between now and end of the month, we shall see 50p again, so sitting tight.

Sold £40k yesterday at 51.8p with the aim of a buying back in at 46p, given that the share just would not break 52p. That will teach me for trying to guess the top! Ha ha. Now on the sidelines as I don’t see 55p as a buy price.

Some of these companies that have booked through the pandemic are well worth shorting.

There’s a lot of merit to what you are saying, but the media couldn’t ever report or speculate on this without a massive backlash. We don’t have a large Muslim community down where I live, but every week, even at the height of lockdown, a group of circa 100 Muslims would meet in a field near me for prayer, there was no social distancing, quite the opposite in fact! I was gob smacked when I first saw them, as it was like the first week of April.

They all think Allah will protect them from the virus! America have had the same problem with Christian prayer groups.

It looked nice in a candy red. Couldn’t hear it as I was driving opposite way on duel carriage way. Saw it again on the way home again at traffic lights. Obviously just getting miles under his belt!
