How can you be so sure that Marshall Wace's short is connected to the convertible bonds and is part of a CB Arbitrage strategy ? Marshall Wace have numerous short position open in various companies on the FCA short list, would they all be connected to convertible bonds ? or might some be pure short bets on the share prices going down.

But how can you be so sure that Marshall Wace 's short is connected to the convertible bonds ?

0.71% short = 14 million shares they've borrowed, sold and looking to buy back at a lower price

Is a code 900 a single trade of 900 shares ?
I think the SP has been well and truly played, whether that be Marshall Wace LLP ( shorting) who knows but I can't believe the influence they've had. Having said that, it's been a buying opportunity.

Perhaps those who are promoting negative rumours are part of Marshall Wace LLP who have increased their short position to 0.6 % which equates to a short position of about 11.4 million shares

Short positions (above the 0.5%) seem to have been closed or at least reduced below the notifiable level.
That's probably why the paid trolls are quieter now.
Bring on that RNS December update to rebuild some confidence and value

Just noticed Marshall Wace LLP had to increase their short to 0.7% last week to try and maintain control of the Share price.

Hope a fantastic RNS on Warwick West blows their position.

Does anyone know whether any of the Neil Woodford funds were invested in Bushveld Minerals .
It might explain some of the selling activity or give an associated motive to short.
