RE: MPOX OUTBREAK DECLARED GLOBAL HEALTH EMERGENCY20 Aug 2024 18:09
Mart..at the same time the environment is very different post COVID ..testing is a lot easier and faster and the public are used to it. Testing will become huge in the future although my bet is eventually on AI being more involved.
The lessons learnt are to be ready and capable of testing.
It has been classified as a global health emergency
I keep repeating that this is a golden opportunity for ncyt...to sell not only monkey pox test but also portable labs in less urban environments .
Some companies will make one helluva lot of money from this outbreak
Whether ncyt will maximise their potential is another thing
Current mcap is £58m with £40plus million in cash. Ygen was bought for £26m ..although I don't myself value it at that ( yet). This monkey pox test was from the primer design portfolio which has been valued by the market at nothing for more than a year. Just goes to show
I think current SP could possibly be justified without selling a monkey pox test ..I did think the high of £1.38 was questionable. Without any sales details
I get your critique..though if you can't appreciate the potential in this outbreak for ncyt
.then I am not sure why you are invested here,? That is assuming you are ?
