Monkey pox has been around for awhile and they should have been ready for this new more severe outbreak.

This is what I am talking about having a coherent strategy going forward. Work out which lurgy has more potential and be good to go. Plan who you want to sell to and how etc etc

Yes a potential oyster breakout is one thing but there was clearly more potential in monkey pox

The guy that got ncyt the gov contract is gone.

Clearly they could not capitalise on the current monkey pox opportunity..which to me casts doubts on their abilities for further lurgies.

LR has bankrupt ygen once already.

He has been with the company a year now and ygen has not exactly set the world alight with all the cash available that he needs.

He is now the head honcho for 5 months..the pr has been abysmal..no effort at even appearing to care or look after share holders .

And now we are told 3-9 months for an update on their strategy..FFS

Though he says he believes we will be making a profit before cash burns completely ..some comfort that.

The alarm needs for me was I was expecting £40m or so in cash...so they are still burning far too much.

They couldn't make significant cash on monkey pox . And lastly presenting with a message of wait 3-9 months for a strategy.

How was he given the job of CEO with no future plans indicated?

Davey.. they were pumping and dumping....and will have disappeared to the next herd target..though to be fair none of us knew where it was going to go with monkey pox.

Ncyt should have been taking more advantage of the opportunity

However harl had a contract for Navy ships...you would expect due diligence to have been done by those signing with them. You would also have expected them to get a gov guarantee. In a rational world. They had also won a decision on IM and few expected the appeal to be successful.

Ncyt sold some but the reality is that they should be poised to make the most of these opportunities .it wasn't covid but they should be making say £10m from it..not amounts that are not material.

I worry when I see them posting on ncyt that they have a test ready to go...they should be making sure that interested parties are in no doubt they have a test cos the sales team have already called them up.

You could make money back by trading the share.

Broom...river stone was in talk with Falklands and could not give the guarantees needed to keep the preferred bidder status.

If river stone had gone about things differently..securing the future of harl...then they could prob have kept the contract.

Could river stone have kept tre company going and secured other finance at a less loan shark interest?

They lost Falklands....because river stone aren't interested in the survival of the company- plc.

They just want to sell it as a whole or pieces to recoup their cash

The reality is that the sales of this contentious product aren't there . The science is against the product.

a year ago they had not lost the gov dispute and we were led to believe they had a very strong case .so it is debatable whether it is a positive. My feeling is that ncyt blew the case..with their expert witness.

The main income of ncyt is ygen..and LR should already have a coherent and tangible plan for monetisation.itbis his baby and then shareholders were led to believe that it was finance as the only thing holding it back .

Primer design is there to boom if a suitable lurgy comes along...it did with COVID and should have done with monkey pox.

Are the staff still there that can take these opportunities ?

For me it boils down to one positive and one negative .

Positive is that ncyt are only ever one plague from rocketing.

The negative is LR has already bust ygen once. Now he has cash and doesn't have to play the aim game he seems to give little care for shareholders . The cash was considerably lower than I had been expecting..they are clearly bleeding Far too much

When quizzed about the lack of updates..we were told that there are limits on what can be rns.i know there are things they must rns but didn't know that they were limited to what they could say?

I am at a loss as how they can estimate that revenue will be down ( 9.8 to 9.4) and yet the share price will triple???

On top of that they have ignore the gazillion 4p placing shares waiting to be dumped ...oh and the probability that the hard earned tax payer cash has to be paid back.
