hicks I am not sure if you are referring to me? the continual shouting of me being negative i think has left some people with the impression I am doom and gloom. which isn't true. i feel it is has been used as a tactic to shout me down rather than argue points at times. i try to reflect the position as i see it - yes i am critical of certain things - but is that negative or being accurate? the SP is what it is. i can't speak for anyone else...but i stay because i am critical - we know the bod read the posts - it is my voice i have used this whole DOR experience as a learning curve - so it has been positive for me in many ways.i am still learning from it At times it allows me to vent frustration A paper loss is not a loss until sold. luckily i can write off the �10k i invested - so am happy to hold. I took a gamble on oil in the weald (from the bbc report) the jury is still out. if it all comes good the catalogue of disasters will all be laughed at from a farmhouse in Tuscany! So i am going to around until we reach 60p or more. There are posters that I ignore - just don't bother reading - anybody who doesn't like mine or other poster's posts i suggest they do the same.

A E Marsh - absolutely brilliant post. You will now doubt be stalked too. every post you make will be jumped on . my advice is just ignore.

All - the trouble is that it is very hard to have a decent discussion. If you offer a contrary view you get shouted down. i totally agree you learn a lot more by listening to contrary opinions - if there is something to support it. golden ticket ramps dont offer anything in my opinion. To be honest none of us know what the bod are doing. I would imagine with the exception of leni they are not doing much. He is also dividing his time between a number of ventures. in my opinion he could be promoting dor much more on media - trying to generate new investors. There was all the talk of ASX would attract institutional investors that AIM wouldn't - well lets see it.

The posters that are so keen to promote the share - for their interests ie get the price up - don't want any contrary opinion. so will attack anyone who dares be critical. I am happy to take responsibility for my investment- i am willing to lose all i have invested What I am not prepared to do is deceive - not honourable.but hey that is up to the individuals morals I still hope and think that this share could come good despite the catalogue of disasters - I don't feel the need to do it by conning others.

all - I am making a point. Puta talked about we can only blame ourselves. Too an extent I agree but I also feel that the average punter puts his trust in people being honest and professional. Maybe it is naive and you have to go through that learning curve - I don't know. Probably I will make far more from the lessons learnt with DOR than I will ever make from the share itself. I am also trying to illustrate that if you are going to take responsibility for your investments then you can't always believe the bod or bb. There are agendas. the people who pump stock aren't there when it all goes wrong - they keep a very low profile. the reality is that we are producing very little given all the hype. yes we hope it will get sorted out and quickly. and hopefully nearer the end game.

puta - whilst I believe ultimately we have to take responsibility for our own actions/investments - I do believe the bod have some kind of accountability. They need to tell the truth in RNS and presentations. They also need to be professional and worthy of drawing the considerable wages / options they receive from us. I was happy to take the risk on HH I didn't expect to be dropped from AIM - which is still causing us problems in my opinion. Whilst placements are always a possibility/probability I don't expect shares to be issued like confetti. also theoretically - lets say the hole in the tube occurred because of negligence - would we be expected to take responsibility for that ? or should we be able to trust/expect them to drill a hole properly? I know with the old LGO they lost a drill - something the new management indicated should not have happened. also investors have to take responsibility when they read BB and get sucked in by golden tickets / wouldn't want to be out of this at the weekend/ other suppositions like we are still going on the main market - even though leni has ditched the idea etc . etc because if it doesn't work out those same posters will disappear into the ether along with leni. this is why the BB needs all types of posters - even those shouted down as negative. so a more balanced view can be had.

since we do not know the cause - it is impossible to know if a glitch or serious. would a pin hole drop an expected 450 bod (or 900 bod ramped ) to 40? personally I am hoping it is a bloody great big hole! i think a lot of us believe there is a lot of oil there - the question was always whether it is commercially viable - and unfortunately that is the confirmation we were expecting/hoping - and didn't get. was it over reaction - yes - Brockham and HH are bigger plays and we are still in them. However it raises other doubts etc. the market always punishes bad news and this was not good news. no tweets from leni

bendog - i agree i think asx could hit us again. if DOR was on AIM i think that there would certainly be trading opportunities. I would have done it with angs at 50% down yesterday to get a very quick 5%-10% and get out but had no free cash in my ISA. however I wouldn't trade on NEX. Personally I wouldn't do more than a quick trade at this stage. We don't know what is wrong or timelines. A hole could be the best case scenario there are other options i would rather not think about. some investors dump stock before xmas for various reasons which needs to be considered too - with no news we could drift lower Brockham - i personally fear that we could have delays to the Q1 production target. If lidsey has not been sorted out well by then - it could also affect investor sentiment. The game is not over but I think we may have longer delays than most hope for. the jam is for tomorrow again. yes a negative post - but we are where we are. A reflection of the SP. if anyone wants to believe the Happy clapping ramping then thats fine. it is your money.

donone - i fear you may be right that we will take longer to recover than ANGS.

Not the greatest public speaker but I have always liked vonk and ANGS. they have a lot of skin in the game and not by issuing themselves cheap options. They are the reason I still have hope it could all come good.

lgo and cerp are two different beasts with the new management. I don't want to discuss cerp too much (even though they are a previous leni company lgo ) as i will be accused of ramping another share on here - i am just using it as an example. interestingly i enjoy reading all the negative posters on there more than the positive. i think if that is all your concerns then i am quite comfortable with that! i guess we will have to just agree to disagree on the influence of this bb on the SP. I really don't see it. i think anyone who thinks they can influence the SP on here might just be giving themselves delusions of grandeur. I certainly dont see it as an excuse for rudeness.

wanderlust - i think considering the time lines involved for a lot of us - 3 years for yourself ...2.5 years for myself...etc there is very little actual moaning. Don't confuse critical and analytical discussion as moaning or even differences in opinion., Sure it is not ramping - but that can equally put investors off. i know when i look at a share i look for intelligent balanced views. the usual tripe of wouldn't want to be out at the weekend / MM manipulation and games / golden ticket blah blah might work on newbies but maybe not on anyone who's been around for a bit. we all know good production figures could shift this - anything else is probably just noise really. in fact i am more interested in the critical /negative views of a stock i believe in than the positive. Thats where i might learn something or more. if i can discount any critiscm then it makes me even more sure of my investment. i think i have proved that comments on here dont have any impact - look at the graph - with the exception of the jump on ASX launch it is a flatline. (whether you consider that jump large or small is relative. i just had 300% on CERP so for me it was a little jump - your mileage may differ ) so take out the jump on the news we have been waiting for a long time ever since leni mentioned a main listing etc - the graph shows that comments on the bb dont influence one way or the other to any great extent.

if you want evidence that this board doesn't affect the SP .then I suggest that you look at the graph of SP on NEX - which shows the last 5 months It is pretty much a flat line. the price jumped a little on ASX launch. If listing on a main index with a lot of new institutional investors who only had the ability to gain exposure to the weald through DOR - as was touted - then do you really believe a bb with half a dozen posters makes a difference?

wolf - that is the whole point i already said personally i haven't seen evidence contrary to the numerous posts of people "defending their position" ....as if they were knights in shining armour rather than just being rude or keyboard warriors who probably wouldn't say boo to a goose in real life, ......you said "of course these boards affect"...as if it was a fact. suggesting you had evidence? unless you have evidence it isn't a fact. i have never filtered anyone. there have been those who made protestations about filtering me when in fact it was obvious they hadn't. However it was already clear that their word was questionable. I ignore people who stalk or continually attack me or try to bully by being control freaks.... I don't mind discussing anything with anyone who is polite or doesn't take cheap shots. wolf -. I don't have an isssue with you. we don't always agree. if you challenge me i will try to respond logically and with reason.

Wolf - we are no longer on AIM. We are talking about DOR here not any of the other players on AIM furthermore nex suffers from a lack of liquidity - we had 2 trades today.....4 yesterday...5 the day before...you really believe those trades were motivated by comments on here? Please give evidence of anything posted on here that has affected the SP.
