interesting thread i totally agree with LLL that you only realize a profit when selling and it is good to have a strategy and exit point in mind. For me it is too early for me to see how far CERP can go. on the one hand it is a small oil producing company in trindad - i take LLL's point on the need for workovers on existing wells and the exploration element of other assets. I would say we are possibly over valued in that respect on the other hand we have a leader who is clearly a one of a kind in the AIM world. His record speaks for himself. If anyone could take a �35 million company to �500 million it is him. Currently my investment is in him rather than existing assets. i got slated before but my interest is really his long term view in south america. my feeling that the real money will be made at this point and that as a consequence now is the time to invest when it is embryonic rather than when the RNS drops. i had traded in and out of cerp and was happy to do so - however schroders changed my mind in making it an investment as well as trading the movement. i believe their investment gave a base of 5p and a degree of security or validity as an investment.

yes...but my guess is that he will be back in some form or other.... and there will be others who get suckkered in...and when others warn against him they will no doubt get shouted down as being negative etc.

rorker - in my opinion any drop below 5p will be bought into. Schroders entry at that point gave a base line. I hold enough for my long term investment which I just let sit there. any drops to 5p I buy a small chunk for trades until it goes back up. actually this shares stability could be considered one of its strengths because it is not acting like a pump and dump typical aim company but a proper solvent company that is building up. it will take time but it is an investment not a speculation. if you invest here long term you aren't likely to lose all your money - unlike the horse shit snake oil salesmen of the previous bod

if that is the case..why isn't leni advertising it?...why is he not promoting the fact that we are finally earning from production? I would be very interesting to see what actual work he has done this month on behalf of DOR

LLL- i think Koot intends to use the income generated from current production to found the drills - which is why they are later on. i am betting on boom which is why i topped up �9k this morning

have to say the rise has caught me by surprise. i have a big chunk that will just sit there as an investment.. i had another chunk which i trade. loaded up at 34p and cashed out at 40p....nice earner but was kicking myself as it went higher and higher...i thought 40p would be the resistance. happy if it stays up....if it doesnt will load up again for another trade.

the thing is with the schroders investment it has put a base line of 5p . Thats not to say the sp won't ever go below that line but it would have to be a dramatic event to keep it there. any share has movement...and if we accept the 6.9p was on a wave of sentiment - the share has traded in the range of 5-6p. they are producing and cash positive so it just needs patience. the ftse companies didn't get there overnight. we know koot has big plans....but he has a realistic time plan too. and we are on track. sooner or later there is going to be a big deal or a significant increase in production. the question is whether you want to be in or out at the time. personally i have a large chunk just sat waiting. i am even considering another trading chunk as i think the price will only go up.

so when you read down the document basically in the last month (since the reporting period) - there has been no significant activity - apart from prduction having restarted - but there are no figures on what is being produced.. no significant tweets either - so that was an easy month's wage for leni!

4CER. I believe we were going to be chucked off ISDX/NEX/LOBSTER POT because we hadn't effected an RTO. So rather than a choice I think he didn't have an alternative. The main listing would have been the best option or going back on AIM - but I sincerely believe that Leni would find it difficult with his reputation. Clearly all the noise about institutional investors wouldn't participate in AIM but they were lining up for ASX was bull. Interesting that investors who were at the time extolling the virtues of ASX in their ramps - have disappeared from this board or sold out. Can't say I blame them for selling out - was probably the best decision - even if they had continually ****ged me off for moaning about ASX! lol............... a lesson to be learned for anyone reading is don't believe everything people write on here. You don't know if someone has got an agenda or what it is.

leni has lost interest in dor as theres nobody left to fleece. who in their right mind would put cash in a share with no footprint in the uk....and the aussies have been burnt with the asx listing. his radio silence is disgraceful....he cant even be bothered to pump on twitter for his weekly wage. where are all those who lambasted me for being negative after every bit of bad news that has ground this share to shyte?

ex - you could invest in ukog as well then - currently very cheap and easy to trade here in uk... though if they dont sort their finances out - may not be any meaningful progress anyway. Sorry I don't see any case for investing in DOR at the moment.... if I am being honest. if you are that keen then why dont you? no money or too difficult?

LGO - some of us want to hear the negative views. It is more use to me now than later should any of them come true. it is my hard earned money and i am, adult enough to take responsibility for my investment - but i like to make my choices from being informed as much as possible not hope on the AIM casino. i believe in the CERP story and backed that with a large inverstment.but that doesn't mean it is fixed in stone. if there are potential doubts i want to hear them. if you are confident in the share there is no need to get upset with any who have another opinion. as for motives - i dont trust anyone on these boards i suspect many have motives. in the long term a good company will make money regardless of which way the herd are stomping in any given moment. posting negatives on here won't affect the SP long term if koot delivers with bopd if you really don't like a poster then i suggest the best tactic is to ignore them. attacking is only feeding

LLL - i agree that nothing in oil is a certainty. I think your posts are very valuable on this board to challenger people's perspective. We need balance. however i think saying that the german outcome would have probably been the same is questionable, If he had been in charge he may have decided against the drill in the first place. my opinion on Koot is that his due diligence is a lot more robust than others. he has that dutch pragmatism which i have come across often. i get the feeling he is all about bang for buck. he is not so much of a chancer. still doesn't ,mean he will have a 100% record but i trust him with my money. and shroders money.

my impression was that they are very close to a small deal and there is another big deal in the background for the future- i get the feeling that is why he has delayed the update with bopd to give a double whammy with the small deal as well. the later he leaves it the higher the bopd as well. my hope is that the big deal is a south american one. I don't see spain closing as the news we have been waiting for...even though it is good news. think we should just abandon it anyway. it seems to be more cost than income.

good RNS from Angs. Some good news at last. fingers crossed this is the year Don't think UK market is being dim....Leni has turned his back on it - it is no longer listed on a UK index. why go through all the hassle with ASX when you can buy ANGS?

emily - koot took over on may 10th - so when he talked about the then then current production i took that to be qtr2 where the production was 327. anything above 650 i would be very happy with but not expected. I think people should be on the cautious side with predictions as we saw the effect on the SP before xmas with some wild predictions.
