I don't disagree with you about the best route forward.

My only issue is that I am not convinced that Leni gives a doggy doo about us pi who pay his wages. When he first came in I was quite happpy as he is a big personality who seemed to cause excitement and he was certainly an improvement on the old bod whose negligence lost us our place on AIM. As a bloke I quite like him.

However as the years have gone on I don't find him to be trustworthy. 2+2 starts to add up .
The bull poo starts to become transparent.

neon - i disagree it is also a time to trade cerp.

Anything bought at 4p or under could gain 25% very quickly on the rise to 5p. That is no a bad return for a couple of weeks.

agree with Ross on the share prices being bandied about. I expect this to get back to 5p easily but from then on we will need production update that we are getting towards 1000bod etc to get past the resistance at 5.3p and 6.2p, there may well be a spike in the build up but if the figures are not there it will dive again.

however I do believe we have a solid base of steady production - just takes time. rome was not built in a day and neither was trinidad drilled in a day!

Koot has said recently that he expects to hit his target of 1000bod by the end of the year.

If people want to doubt him that it fine but lets make it clear that it is only their speculation until proof he hasnt.

ross - i won't go into the cash burn thing again.

However as for the wording - I suspect the wording changed because of Spain. There is cash burn (even though reduced) with no income - so it would be inaccurate to say cash positive across the company. the sooner spain is sorted out once and for all cant come too soon for me.

ross - i suspect anybody in trin since 2014 hasn't found it dull but excruciating!

As I have said before I have a chunk to sit until south america as an investment. I will trade in and out along the journey with other pots. it is AIM after all. The prospect of Oil in SWP should spike enough to derisk until whether the drill(s) is/are a success. Success would bring a spike but should any hole be a duster the SP would no doubt get oversold.

I do not know much about trin. a brief look at them shows that jan 2014 they had a SP £1.58 - do you know what was the market cap at that point? they were producing around 4200 bod

roll on 2018 and they are producing 2800 bod with a share price of £0.17 and market cap of £65m. clearly things went very wrong

sentiment can play a large part in the valuation of a company. whilst trinity may have sorted their problems out there may not be the sentiment in the current management to suggest the kind of growth that others feel kooot can deliver with cerp.

valuations of companies can be very hard to understand - i was in an oilie with a market cap less than the cash it had in the bank. the market never loved the company

i seem to remember that he said 3-4 wells to be drilled in swp. estimates 40-400 mb for wells . and that should we hit one of these it would be transformational valuing company at $200m

if it got to $500m cap I do not think it would not be with an SP of 80p (20x todays SP) as we would have to be diluted.

i suspect the VSA prediction might be closer to the actual figure. That would still be 600%

irene if you look at the media presentations. the swp is to be funded by the current production. he believes there is a good chance of a good result from swp...which will be the next level to step up .

the time line always shows south america as the goal down the line - which is why i invested - to get in early and just sit it out..he says he wants $100m deal. that is 4x the current mcap.

he wants to make cerp a $500m company x20 mcap

if i could double my £50k investment - I would be a very happy bunny.

with all respect cos of 10% or 90% could still come up with a duster. exploration is always a gamble.

Saying that Koot took over CERP because of the potential of the company - one of the pieces being SWP. I am sure he had many jobs he could have taken. he liked this one and am sure he will be doing his best to strike oil - so there will be a number of drills and i am sure they will analyse data as much as possible.

the bigger picture has always been M&A in south America.

the other plays are just steps to get there.

puta - what makes you think he is holding out for the best deal? and best deal for whom?

if there are billions of barrels then the best deal is to sit on it and just reap a percentage from the production. providing ukog are a bit better getting it out of the ground than angus!

the trouble is that we dont really know who owns what and who pulls the strings . i have long suspected that leni and his cronies work together in the pig trough.

selling our share cheaply could be a great deal for someone - but not shareholders in DOR. I am sure leni will do well whatever decision is made

Like others then I don't understand why you are on here to continually negatively speculate on what is going behind the shares - something which none of us know the reality of. I am heavily invested but still only the time to look in now and again just to see current opinion on shares I hold.

I welcome objective criticism - based on fact or objective speculation behind the scenes. However continual knocking of a share you are not invested in ? Anyway doesn't matter - I have faith in Koot for the moment - though I do take note of your comments.

it is producing 500 + bod - . Koot has advised there is more to come and for all we know the issues that have held back any increase might be being currently resolved or to be in the near future.

Whether steeldrum was a natural expansion or as per your theory bolted on because of lower than expected production doesn't matter in the big picture in my opinion

It shows that koot wants production to increase to make more money to expand.

Actually if your theory is correct then it is even more impressive that he is not content but looks for a plan B or C or D. as required, That is why he has so many fans and people want to invest in him.

he will do what it takes to make this company bigger.

ross - i would agree with you that it the acceptable face.

you may be right on the cash crunch in which case i would agree to it being best. however since the company says we are not at cash crunch time currently but fully funded - not to say it couldn't happen - i have to listen to them and it doesn't need it in my opinion.

i think we both know each's other views on this - so I am not going to go round in circles repeating myself.
