I doubt Ken left on his own accord. He was clinging on to the bitter end. How he wasn't pushed before remains a mystery to me.

He messed up the previous bids for the company and sat at the helm for the complete destruction of the company. Plus false accounting is pretty dam bad.

I suspect him going relieved some of the pressure from the awful final accounts..his position was not tenable ..not after FCA investigation.

I suspect he was holding on in hope of getting a job with sid...but he was never going to get one.

I think at this stage a rival bid is unlikely.
