I still think they should be selling assets off to provide the cash. Yes it will hit the balance sheet but the company won't have been fire sold to sid

Hopefully a third party will look at the accounts and provide a counter offer.

Seems companies give you an award and then try to sell you a package of certificates and glass trophies.

Everyone knows the fca is toothless ..if did buy the company then fca will not do anything.

They reduced the offer because they could..the bod have bent over.

The bod are not under any obligation to tell sid exactly what is happening. They can just say we are in talks with other interested parties....sid would have thought twice about reducing the offer.

Instead bod have said...we got you...

The issue is that instead of bending over for sid and allowing them to reduce their initial offer...the company could have rns that others had contacted them

Tried to keep Sid competitive rather than presenting it as a fait accompli .

If they had been looking after shareholders then they would have played their hand better in my opinion
