covid play - this is what brought the company attention of the herd. a gov contract should not have been a risk - if they had thrashed it out properly with a minimum fee for being on standby. odx still could not sell a test in a pandemic...............................................

odx sold most of the business - as it was all loss making. now snake oil is also loss making as all overheads will be put down to the one division

100% committed to usa - means nothing. they could not sell anything significant in uk / eu..usa will be a lot harder to crack in my opinion

jc - you make a good point. if the company were going in the direction of not being a going concern i would agree. i suspect they would be "leaked" the situation somehow.
the £4m has stopped that uncertainty for a couple of years at least . even if they had to pay the gov back in full they would have £4m in the bank. plus possible royalties of up to £1m.

that is not to say i think the company has performed a fakearound. if they dont sell enough product then the cash burn will still go on.

when i said they would not sell at a loss - i had this in mind. they might not like being trapped in but i dont think they will sell at a loss at the moment

i still maintain that there would be a serious of hyper ramps from finncRap before they ditched the share. remember there is a relationship between both parties that they will both want to retain

Firstly I doubt they would sell at 3p for a 25% loss. They would pressure finncRap for some kind of pump to get out. FinncRap must use them pretty frequently so will want to keep them for any lifestyle companies they have. Though what they have in the armoury is debatable

If there were any such stipulation I am sure it would have to be rns...especially if a benefit to shareholders which this would be.

does not stipulate any dependency on having to hold for any length of time - if this were a condition i am sure they would have put it in rns

in any case say they had X shares and Y warrants - they could sell the lot at any time above 4p and buy the warrants at 4p to cover the sale.
9 for 5 is quite a lot more dilution pain coming...the only good thing is that whilst it under 4p the placees won't want to sell at a loss

atan - i am not sure i agree that having a large cash balance is not always a good thing.

however it is not an indication that the business is healthy and can be used to fund the bod wages which is what they might care about rather than the biz..lifestyle companies.

the market has now clearly valued what they think the company is worth - and it is not a lot if you take the cash out of the equation. so any new potential investor should be looking at this. plus they still owe the gov £2.5m

the fakearound has not happened yet...the company is still looking at losses for the next two years.

if someone is pumping this share..look at the facts they provide if any - and check them with the accounts and research notes. don't be fooled with "i am topping up when my giro comes this afternoon"

these bucket shop flippers buy distressed shares for a quick turnaround. then move on to the next placing.
they have already been trapped in odx a lot longer than they expected.
they will want out for 10%/20%..etc.
