if the west had not supplied weapons this war would have been long over.
the ukrainians are gritty , determined and one could probably argue pound for pound one of if not the best armies in the world at the moment.
however without the weapons supplied they surely would have been overwhelmed by now.

biden and members of the west are happy to fight until the last ukrainian.....so they are giving enough support to carry on the conflict ...which stops it being resolved either way.
at some point they emphasis on profit will be by rebuilding rather than warfare...at this point...peace talks will be possible in my opinion

Wrap ...I hear you but in response I would say the British diagnostic companies seem to have come a cropper with dhsc prob because they don't want to get on the wrong side..they don't want to be thought as troublesome and jeopardise future business.

Let's face it the DHSc can behave very badly and the next day still offer another contract and these companies will jump for it .

I believe they have prob behaved reasonably and given all opportunity to resolve the situation whilst at the same time standing firm on what they believe is a strong defence...I may be wrong....but I see nothing to go against that.

Most commercial litigation cases don't go to court...I suspect there will be a compromise but we could still be 2years away..

There is the possibility that ncyt could go to court and lose and end up in debt...or a non going concern..
With the current projected sales. Personally I think they have a strong case..although I only know what we can glean from the little info we have. That is why I still hold. If we recover some more cash it will do wonders for the sp and give me a chance to get out nearer my average .

I will wait for the new CEO..maybe there will be a drastic change. But at the moment my hopes are pinned on a good result from the dispute

i predict the company will be right and will make a loss for at least the next two years - lets see?

i have made several sp predictions - and been bang on.
it is my posting history that i predicted that odx would receive max £2m for CD4. so far they have received £1.3m which means i am correct- so far. Should they receive a substantial proportion of the £4m as i have already said i will be the first to admit i was wrong. however if they dont - also entirely possible i will remain right. lets see .

back when the first rns came out of possible £4m - i predicted the result would be nearer xmas - whilst your mate was trying to pump beginning of september - not realising that it wasn't even officially autumn - lol....
As xmas is just over a month away - i would say that is also pretty correct.

well i see this as good news - though there will no doubt be some short term pain. The market will always punish uncertainty.

ncyt should never have appointed someone in his first ceo job and the SP has been suitably crucified by someone seemingly winging it with salad rhetoric. to take a 100 day walkaround and then come up with that April presentation was taking the mick. asking for a pay rise as rome burned should never have been approved.

my only concern is the ability to choose a better ceo - and also I think NCYT are in a worse place than they were before hiring Salad man so may reduce options on good calibre applicants.

however it has got to the stage where it has to get worse to get better - but at least the main issue has been addressed. so all in all a very good rns

I said it would prob be nearer xmas before kenya results/cd4 payment would be notified - even though some were trying to say it would be imminent way back. If an AIM company says autumn then it means after September 21st and generally these things run late.

the gov dispute will be months away in my opinion - the bureaucratic wheels turn very slowly

Firstly it seems pretty desperate to be wanting another plague to raise the sp...think most would settle for their monetary losses.

When was the last time there was such a worldwide virus of such consequence ?
If it was 1919 then we might have a long wait.

The company clearly need more strings to their now...they have got cash....might as well use it ...better than having to give it over to give in worst case scenario

firstly it is unlikely odx are in a "closed period"
we all know the next possible news drivers
1) £4m received or not
2) resolution of gov dispute one way or t'other.
since they would have to notify immediately on any news - it is safe to say neither have been resolved.

besides if they had wanted to buy they could have done it on the release of the last accounts - when the market was fully updated on current position.

my suspicion is that the two directors buying in were a) to enable an rns in the hope of generating froth and/or b) encourage other employees to sink their money in.

be interesting to see if any employees actually do?

jco - i have a suspended share - evraz. You can still trade it privately and there was a company that was facilitating this for a premium.
i wonder if it could have been a private trade?
