It's not about being impatient. It's about investing in a fair market. Hut and Hive have just flown up with BTC. That is to be expected as miners are like a call option on BTC with the strike somewhere around their all-in-cost of minign a coin.

The current strategy of the MM's is to annoy and demoralize PI's so that funds and mates can load up. No doubt many PI's will succumb and sell - hence the rapid decline of people on this board. The manipulation going on here is straight out of Jesse Livermores day. Nothing has changed.

Yeah, volumes are low across the market. Very eerie. Wondering if it's time to buy a protective put in case this crazy US equity market shi*s itself.

Sure - the company is doing well. No complaints there. That's not the problem. It's the blatant manipulation of the price that's the problem.

Hmm, my watchlist has every crypto stock blue except for ARB, which is 4.94% down... what a fuc*ing surprise!

@EeyoreWaysis: I was down almost 50% on GOG and SGC later last year... I still made money on it. I'm down about 8% at the moment, which is insignificant. I was ready to average-down if it dropped today, but that's not how the cooky crumbled. Strange how things work.

It's absolutely wise to be prudent here... I see the journey as generally upwards now, but in the short-term, it's facing lots of resistance at 50p, especially now that RSI is verging on overbought again. Any II's buying will tend to slow down now until RSI drops back.

Spread looks too wide to arbitrage it.

Looking good, but strong resistance at 50p. Hoping we can break that over the next couple of days before RSI rises too much again and funds step away while it cools.

Hey Chri55, I'm not trying to pick on you fella! I'm a trader, I don't really care what people post on these boards... everyone is here for their own personal gains and we're all somewhere between blatant de-ramper and ramper.

I'm wondering myself whether today's rise is going to be sustained or whether we continue the slide down for a while longer. The fundamentals are strong and improving (or else I wouldn't be here), but the sentiment is undoubtedly bearish since April. I'm going to try and resist the FOMO of today's rise and wait a bit longer to see if I can pick up more at a slightly lower price. All good here longer-term in my view. Nice setup!

I expect there would be significant buyout interest at that price! what a load of cra*. As they say - 'there's no bad publicity' for crap*y share platforms.

Seriously, if these 'algorithm-based predictions' were so good, they'd be using them to make money...but they're useless pieces of garbage and make no money at all.

Not sure what the heck is going on with this share any more. All of the Canadian and US- listed miners have pumped over the past two weeks, while ARB has gone nowhere. Any time it rises slightly, it's immediately banged down by a tsunami of selling. The price action has a very bad smell to it. I doubt it would be this badly manipulated if its primary listing was the US.

Anyway, it's going to eventually reach a point at which the shorters lose control and I'm hanging on for that.

@Know0: 325k is an impressive sized position in CPI.

I am an old git, so I don't allocate a huge percentage to anything, no matter how good it is and on CPI, I've never have more than about 50k. I'm not here to fool anyone. I simply stated that the ride to 100p would be enjoyable... I don't recall that I ever said it was going to rise to 100p tomorrow, next week or even by next year, so I'm surprised that you think I'm fooling people. Anyway, I don't care, nor do I usually interact with others on boards as I simply have too many trades to manage to do that and talking here does not make me any money.

I'm not looking for an 'out' with Capita. As soon as I'm out, I'll likely be back 'in' again. I expect to be around for 6m or so or as long as the fundamentals are reasonable and the price is low.

FYI: for some very illiquid stocks, comments on these boards can potentially move the price. I really doubt that happens on CPI. There's way too much liquidity for that. The only thing that moves CPI is major institutional buying, news after an RNS, an upgrade or comments by a respected commentator...

It's becoming difficult for me to see what would boost this until the next results. I hope to be wrong (as is often the case when a view is aired...). I'll grab my wetsuit and snorkel to swim down to check my holding some time soon.

I initially thought is had bounced ~20 July, but I'm glad I resisted the temptation to double-down. Ho hum, it's a great share and will move up some day.

Don't worry - nobody can time the bottom. We can control the average though, therefore scaling-in sometimes makes sense. I need a diving bell to check my ASOS holding at the moment. Similar story for boohoo...

so it's clear - I am a trader. I do not hold anything long-term. I'm happy to hold for as long as is required to make a profit. I've been in and out of CPI several times over the past week.
