Oh @Porsche is back again!

ASOS is just down just 1%, which is less than most of the FTSE!

I don't see Shein decimating anything. City AM has a nice story today saying that both Boohoo and ASOS are making a killing. That is on top of a rock-solid balance sheet and fundamentals. All Good!

You say - 'back to 1800' by Feb. I expect to have done many profitable trades by then...

(Correction. I guess it is more likely to transition from 'Turnaround' to 'Superstock', but that will take a big increase in the 'Quality' metric).

This looks rock-solid to me. It's also nice as a swing trade.

Stockopedia 'Stock Rank' continues to rise, now at 86 (85 Friday). Value=94 and Momentum=90. There's a base around 50p and RSI is attractive again. It's hard to expect it to rise today though due to the terrible sentiment.

I expect that it's going to transition from 'Turnaround' to 'High Flyer' soon. That is likely to attract more PI's and perhaps another fund.

All Good. It's going to depend on what the FTSE and US market does though.

Generally speaking, I would not touch a stock with metrics this bad. I hold PRE, because I think there's good long-term value, I believe in the story and I've done my own research. I am not a fantasist though. We'll only see a significant number of new investors when the above metrics improve. Until that point, it will drift downwards.

@Hogsnipe: "Just have a look at todays PRE trading so far". Perhaps you're right. With investments like this, I tend to expect lots of shenanigans and scale-in very slowly. I'm not too concerned about the short-term price movements on this stock. If it drops, I'll add more, but I don't yet see any bounce, and I don't catch falling knives.

Yeah, this was the reason that I sold my large holding months ago. I didn't 'get it'. There's stuff that Gati knows that I don't. Maybe it's innocent, maybe it's not, but I don't gamble on that type of thing. I don't know where this is going.

I added a new micro holding and will look to trade it. As I said a few times (nobody ever comments, because everybody knows that it's true), it is quite possible that Minto, if it ever goes to IPO, could shoot up, but PERE might not, because PERE will just be a tiny fund holding a single share, with a CEO that can reward himself whenever the shareholders (mostly, 'himself') approves it... This could easily become (might already be) a cow for the CEO to milk. I dont invest in cows.

This is nonsense.

I would be surprised if PRE was being directly shorted. Only a tiny percent of investors use boards. More likely, it's just PI's selling at a loss after panic.

Shorting can come about when an innocent person buys a put option, to protect themselves from catastophic loss. e.g. Somebody with a large cap portfolio might buy a put on the Nasdaq to compensate for a crash. The seller of that put option (typically a bank or hedge fund) will then sell the shares/index short to hedge themselves against the put option paying out.

It's as simple as that.

For Pensana, I am a holder, but it's clear that the technicals point to further downside until there's significant news. If you're going to buy into a company like this, or Rainbow or any highly speculative stock like this, you have to expect to ride out market volatility and loss of sentiment.

Could be. But the wider market is also heavily down. FTSE down 1.5, German down 2, Italy down 3.

VERY positive for Asos and Boohoo.

Stupid me. I didn't notice the increasing short. I guess it doesn't take much to move this given how quiet a stock it is.
Will be adding if it goes much lower.

@Tiger: Have they banned the Shein app yet? I hear that's on the cards. Already banned in India. Talk of banning it in the UK and US. Hehe!

How's the short going?

Forming a nice base around 50p over the past week.

Stockopedia StockRank also continuing to rise, now at 85 (84 yesterday). StockRank is rising primarily due to the Momentum, but Value is also excellent @94.

This brings it onto the radar of both Value and Momentum investors who filter based on these criteria.

In summary, I expect we're starting to see more PI's, but the pattern over the past couple of days makes me wonder if another II is buying.

And moreover, KEYS has 7 brokers, while INCE has 1...............................

A couple more things.

KEYS has a P/E of 42.5 while INCE is on 5.2 (12m Forecast Rolling for both)
KEYS has 56 employees, while INCE has 701

The INCE market cap doesn't make any sense.

Keys looks stronger - I agree, but I think INCE could stage a dramatic revival. Just look at the figures.

KEYS:
- Mkt cap: £262m
- H1 Revenue: £33.7m
- Divi
- Robust cash position
- Debt-free

INCE:
- Mkt cap: £37m
- FY Revenue: £100m
- No divi, but committed to 'considering one later in the year'
- Balance sheet not as strong as KEYS, Gross/Net Gearing: 64%/45%

In summary, INCE has stronger revenue and if their business is seeing the same pickup as other law firms, then they could have closed most of the gap by the end of the year. Just look at the difference in market cap!

And lots of volatility.

Nice 10% bounce for Rhodium today, but I can still see it going a lot lower from here if the demand is weak. e.g. we're still 100% up from May 2020.

THS is starting to look attractive from a technical standpoint, if you believe that RSI means anything (now at 24). Has anybody crunched the numbers to see what a $5k Rhodium price would do to the P/E?

14 consecutive green days - that's positive; but miniscule volumes. At least it's not dropping.
