Indeed, some similar holdings.
I like ISO as they are majority owned by Nexgen and a lot of the same people are involved who discovered the huge Arrow deposit. Attractive projects and the region they are in makes it possible to discover a big high grade resource.
Results of pre-clinical trials for AP103 are scheduled to be reported in Q4 2018.
As for the 10 years, that is not the norm and depends on the drug. It can be less than half that time.
“On average, the entire process of clinically testing a drug can take anywhere from a minimum of three to a maximum of eight. This is an estimate and actual durations of clinical trials almost always vary for each trial. This is due to the complex nature of testing a drug on equally complex biological systems like humans”
U308 spot price up to $24.15 on Nymex futures as of yesterday. Cameco news after close yesterday might also act as a catalyst going forward.
Yellowcake bought their initial uranium at $21, so effectively this investment is already showing a 15% return. NAV must sure follow as will the share price.
Calling out Bird for an update on Glenover is a fair shout, but when you take a step back and think of all the hoops that need to be jumped through in order to get a Mining Right, then it’s understandable that it’s not in Bird’s hands. He has to wait until the DMR issue the Mining Right. Just to illustrate, Its a very regulated process and docs such as the one in this link need to be submitted, reviewed and approved: http://www.sahra.org.za/sahris/sites/default/files/heritagereports/PHASE%201%20HIA%20REPORT%20GLENOVER%20PHOSPHATE%20APAC01809.pdf
Have to admit I was rather dissapointd by the last operational update.
M2 infill drilling - why no mention about this in the most recent operational update? 8 hole programme finished quite a while ago and we have only been told about assay results of the first 4 holes. This was supposed to be a simple exercise to connect the existing defind resource and expand the JORC estimate.
Sharktooth - the first hole 041 started on 17th April and has reachd depth of 458m at 3rd July, expected depth target is 775-900m. So we are just over halfway to target depth?? I know its going into hard rock but this seems very slow progress. Whats more Sharktooth is supposed to be a 3 hole programme, so when will this complete? at current rate well into next year? This first hole may encounter a copper bearing diorite below 500m depth, but then again it may not..
M4 - This is supposed to be a 6-9 hole programme totalling 950m. So why do we get an update on just one of the holes 004 which is at 122m - describing the varied geology of the brecias, limestones and clays but no metion of any visible copper. I thought they had completed 60% of M4 last year and should be well on the way to completing M4 by now.
Amryt acquired Som and its development product based on the somatostatin analogue, Alan Harris has moved on to other things but he remains a shareholder in AMYT. I don’t see any reason why Amryt need Alan Harris in order to carry out trials. They have already done pre-clinical work on the AP102 drug candidate and are now planning to bring the product into clinical trials and demonstrate its results in humans.
Good to know the scope of what they are expecting. They seem to be reaching out for treatments as there are none available currently. I think Amryt they will be allowed to open study sites in the US soon as announced earlier. AP101, if successful will receive a big first-mover advantage, but the AP103 (Gene Therapy) potential is huge as this is targetting a a cure rather than treating the symptoms.
Couple of things have kept the share-price down: 1) Timescales of the phase 3 AP101 prelim readout slipping 2) Cath Friel (Raglan) reducing holding from 19.08% to 8.99%
Fully agree with you lignumvitae, this is tightly held and liquidity is not great, so when it turns it will rise very fast. Management are substantial holders here.
I’ve just bought my first order. This is trading at cash value at the moment! Expecting a move up once the Canadian and US traders wake up and start buying, they know thier uranium.
IMHO the uranium spot price is poised for a major recovery soon, this market is small and Cameco will soon be actively buying in the spot market as announced causing a 50% increase in spot demand, this can only mean u308 prices going up fast.
If there is any delay to the timescales I would best guess that the Glenover Mining Right is still in progress, as we know SA is not a country where mining right applications are progressed quickly.
Good find Physic, the presentation promises a hell of a lot fom the historic orebodies, GLR explored only 4 out of the 34 prospects if I remember correcly and Colin was trying to find a way to prove a very large low-grade open-pit bulk mining operation but the structural controls for the geology were not established so he gave up on this idea.
Youll have to ask Colin on why he diluted to 15%, I dont think we’ll ever know the full picture, but I bet there is a whole soap opera of power games being played behind the scenes. Quite intersting that the man behind Rethink Recources is none other than Jan Nelson, former CEO of Xtract Resources, one of Colins companies.
GLRs 15% stake could still prove valuable, assumimg it includes all the prospects.
Might be some Glenover offtake news by end of the week/early next week. The MPP should have concluded bulk testing by now so it’s mainly dependent on the Mining Rights being granted now.
“The above Conditon Precedent is expected to be carried out by MPP over the next two months. Therefore the time-lines above for concluding the Heads/Definitive Supply Agreement has been agreed to extend to 30 June 2018 in order to facilitate fulfilling this Condition Precedent.”
