I don't think this is MM's I think it's panic selling due to the new restrictions imposed.
Most of the times I've used stop losses that have been triggered I've regretted it. The only time I now set them (not that I've much experience) is if I've got a short term investment that I know is on a spike or on my CFD practise account which I believe they are a must. I would not consider then on a long term investment such as GGP. That's just me and I'm a newbie so don't take that as advice.
I'm looking to sell one of my other more stagnant positions when the US market opens and fill up Cine while the price is low(ish)
Boy, you had to have some real patience between Jun 2019 and Jan 2020. If you stayed in then you certainly deserve those entry points. Unfortunately that was before my investment era and I've missed out on that.
Very excited for what lies in the future though!
What does a job like that entail? The negotiation part is obvious but but what are they negotiating for?
I'm hoping that indigenous people aren't displaced or have land 'stolen' or lose agricultural or hunting land or anything!
You only have to zoom out to a daily time pips to see how far up it is to pre covid levels. Even if we only get halfway there, that's still a significant amount.
@Hawk, that seems to explain something that's been puzzling me for days. My sell price is not consistent with the indicator.
For instance... Indicator sits at 13.20p, sell price is at 13.10p, normal spread. The indicator rises to 13.41p but the sell price actually dropped to 13.09p and remained there. It seems when the SP drops the sell price drops to suit but it is slow or doesn't react to SP rises.
Frustrating as it's keeping my trade in the red and I so love green.
@Zoros
"So they project the SP to be around 17p by end of this year based on the reduced mineral assessment and the increased PoG. They also take into account Scally, it says??????"
In my layman's opinion this could only be speculative at this stage until the SW results are known (I've heard 6-8 weeks mentioned for this).
Well that was the first thing that came to mind but the figures weren't consistent. I'll keep an eye on it though every time I look the SP goes down and I've no more resources to top up! Thanks for you input!
Well yes I thought this would be a good place to ask being a newbie. You guys have obviously been invested in this and other trades for a long time and there may have been a chance that one or more of you have seen this before. I have no idea how to translate this into a google search which would be my normal first port of call.
No worries, I'll just sit on my hands and say no more.
Well this is what I originally thought but I've seen strange things happening to the figures that made me thing there was maybe an AusDollar influence happening here somewhere and I'm trying to work out what's happening with my returns!
Have we had a shift in exchange rates this morning?
I opened with £303 in the red and when the SP dropped to 12.79 that deficit went up to around £387. When the SP went back up to 13.00 my deficit remained the same. Now it's back down to 12.79 and my deficit went up to £468. It will all iron out in the long run but I'm just trying to rationale it.
