I don't see any comparison with Sound. Sound is desperately cutting back and searching for money. We are cash-positive and expanding. The whole mood will change when we get a new CEO. And getting a good one should not be impossible as it represents an attractive proposition to any ambitious bloke.
We could, of course, make a bid for Sound and tie up Maroc...

I admire David Attenborough as a presenter but fear he has lost his way. The problem is not so much fossil fuels and pollution as population growth where the UK is an example. This he ignores. Likewise the leader of the recent London demos shouting about well, everything, says she has four children. One despairs. As for farting cows... there were a couple of million buffaloes happily farting away on the American plains until we arrived and shot the lot.
My neighbour in Senegal, who never had a job, had fathered 14 children without regard for their future. My only consolation is that I won't be around when this lot implodes..

I don't want to carp because our BOD are not doing a bad job (as far as we can tell) but I wish they had someone on P.R explaining a few basics, like why the delays in preparing the A.M and whether there are time penalties on ship delays. I don't want details, just a bit of info to bind us to management. As it is, we are supposed to be grateful for a statement as and when they feel like it.

Dear Ad-Uk. I still love your info/opinions even if other don't. I think it's understandable that many of us, being believers in HUR, are over-invested. I have 25% of my investments there, and believe that 20% should be the max.in any AIM share. As for interests in the ship and the hook-up, being an old Merchant Navy man myself, I would dearly like to be there and watching. The posts are the next best thing. The wait is tiresome but nothing more.

I'm one of those now at break-even on this share. Seems to me that a six-month view will certainly take the share price over 20 (oil price unchanged). with a good probability of going higher still. I'm sitting on my hands, why gamble elsewhere?.

May I say what an enjoyable B.B this is - and has been for the past year. Lots of good, humorous posts mixed with vital info. It's the only chat show I turn to with expectations.

I understood that production was due to start in December but perhaps they've advanced it a bit. It's worth remembering that I believe 40% of the shares are with BMN. What's good for the goose....
Once in full production, this should be a go-er.

Skopolitis, thanks for such a detailed Note. Agreed Griffin is a very fair buy at the moment but the sentiment and market are against. The SP should stabilise soon and makes for a good long term investment.

Thanks to DSPP for his expertise expose. My take is that this is positive move and moves things forward. There will be those who, naively expected Big Oil to throw the bank at us and will, therefore, now sell as stale bulls. For anyone ( like me) in for the long haul it's a positive and we can relax. Either way, the current price is cheap.

There's some silly talk going on. Our acreage alone is worth quite a bit. I believe a farm-in deal will be completed within the next few weeks and the SP will respond accordingly. That's my view and I'm backing it with cash.

adoubleuk. Keep it up,I love it! I have only one worry about HUR; there's just a risk that someone will pop a rocket at it. The size makes it a wonderful target. Otherwise I am totally at ease with HUR and raise a glass to all PI's however well informed or not.

Most of AIM shares have slid down over this summer. I'm relaxed(resigned) about it. Come September, when volumes build up, there will be a correction.
