I feel that the current market cap price v the potential drill results makes for a good argument to invest. So I have.

Well i have just bought another two thousand quids worth at .685. Yes there may be dilution next month but probably at less than25% .

I do believe this has a future and price today is cheap.

No point in agonising over the past. The New CEO has the background to sort out the mess. He wouldn't have taken on the job unless he thought he could make it work. The next six months will tell.

Seems to me that the BOD of BHP want a shake-up. Telfer was badly evaluated and they missed the opportunity of buying out GGP. Now the are happy to sell their interest in SOLG a a loss. Look at their share performance over the past year. Hardly inspiring given the metal price rise'

We await an update on the gold resource but will we ever get it? The BOD are only human and faced with an offer of personal fortunes in only a few week's time ,or simply carry on working, which way would you lean?

What we do know, is that since the offer the price of copper and gold have reason daily and if this drags on the relative value becomes more and more exposed.

I had the same experience with Shanta Gold.

If the vote comes out at, say, 50-50, the Chinese will come back with a revised higher offer. to kill it off.

On 3rd December, Peel Hunt acting as intermediary for Xiang, bought One and a half million shares at up to 31p. One assumes X was happy at that price yet our BOD accepts less than this. Inexplicable.

Jez, I agree. But the Chinese bought a million 0r so only last week at 31p. so clearly think that was a good price. And are BOD accept at 28p? doesn't make sense. I am sticking around and waiting to see how this pans out.

As the Chinese have bought another dollop at 31, not only do we know that they are hooked in but seems to me that we at least have a safety bottom price.

If my memory is right, BHP paid about 40P for their holding, so they are not likely to sell for less. Mather must be tired of the whole thing so my sell for much the same. The Directors bought in (mostly) at around 20P, they will want a quick killing and get out of the jungle ASAP. That leaves two rogue elephants plus a lot of jackals. You can forget the true value of the mine, my guess is that unless you get two keen bidders, the Company will be sold for under 50P.

I wonder what they do all day? Plan and invest their excessive salaries over a pint ot two? Damn all to do with work, that's for sure.
