I have 4 times as much in Greatland as I have in Bitcoin but I do think cryptocurrencies are here to stay. It is a question of when you get on the train, not so much where it's going. I also have shares in Coin which is on the fringe, you might say.
You need nerves of tungsten to ride the Bitcoin tiger but if you want to be in the crypto society with rather less risk, take a look at 'coin'. The spread is bad but if you are a long term investor, that's not a big consideration.
I've just added a couple of million shares in the belief that January should start to see things moving. What we need is some good publicity. Fingers crossed!
Nothing much will happen before the PFS due end Jan but before then some good news will come in on drilling results, increasing the inherent value in Sol. After seeing the PFS data and chewing knuckles, I think you will see then get some big action, probably in March. That's my take.
So... Back to where we were. Nick will keep on adding value and BHP will eventually have to cough up or leave the table. my guess is that BHP will take out Newcrest giving Newcrest enough fir-power to take out Greatland. A win-win for Newcrest.
The GGP price is still rising on the expectation that Scallywag drilling results are going to be good. Scallywag is 100% owned. So the situation there is solid with Newcrest, and shovels flying as from Jan, with Scallywag as a dream scenario.
Solgold is that much further down the line but, IMO, Solgold will perform next quarter.
