In some way i agree . But.. remember its these geriatrics.. over 50 !!! That probably have the most disposable incomes and have more than one holiday a year. According to you I'm a geriatic ... one thats been going to the gym three times a week for the last 22 years and now greatly missing the side of it. So I can't wait to get this vaccine and start contributing the the overall economy by using some of my disposable income and keeping the RR share price high by flighing long and short haul.
We all contribute to the economy in some shape or form.

Vaccines will bring the virus under control, we will most likely need a booster each year, flights will get back to around 85% by mid 2023, hopefully Dec 2022, RR order book will continue to get stronger but full recovery will take 5 years plus, ive watched this share for over 10 years and its had its ups and downs and will come out of this in a stronger position, (IMO) unfortunately I don't have the lotto numbers :)

This price will only rise significantly once the vaccines have been rolled out to a high perportion of the population and long haul flights are back up to around 85% ..may - dec 21. Until then it will bounce around in-between 105 and 135. Imo :)

Any stock is a good stock but clearly at the right buy and sell price ... but thats the trick knowing when to buy and sell ( stating the obvious) 2020 has been herendus for second guessing any stock but there has been some opportunities short or long. RR has always been one of the safer investments and still is regardless of 2020 and RI. You need to all chill and stop using offensive tones, regardless of (the size )of your investment !! this BB is for decent sound advise not dribble. All the best to everyone ..

RR is and always will be a good investment, ups and down inevitable, and the biggest worry was the rights issue but even that came good for a lot of investers. Things will get back to some form of normality soon ... patience is a virtue ..

RR has a multi billion pound order book, if you are long term, no problem, if your short term,sell and buy when you can. Still maintain this will be around 1.35 April / May, 1.50 Dec 21 and 2.00 Dec 22.

I lost about 2k as the "@#$÷/ " HL acount would not take my deal going up and only managed to complete on the way down, I have made a complaint but today as helped to alleviate my stress levels ....

After being down 22k for months iv now managed to fund my RRN and bank over 30,000 shares and bring my average way way down .. very good day for me as a long holder... I worked for RR for over 15 years and know this company has the ability to pull this one around. Good luck to all !

I received the following from my broker, what does this mean ?
"As long as the price is above 32p shortly after the closing of the Rights Issue, you can expect to receive a payment representing roughly the difference between the share price and the 32p cost."
This was directly after they gave me the three options-
1. You can take them up –give us an instruction for this online or over the phone.
2. You can sell them – sell the rights online or over the phone (normal dealing charges will apply) Please don’t send an instruction via other means – we can’t accept this as we need to give you a quote for the Rights first.
3. You can do nothing and let them ‘lapse’.
