If you are new to Bahamas Petroleum maybe missed a couple of excellent videos below on why drill Perseverance1
The following must be in my opinion simply the best available description anywhere on why BPC chose
to drill Perseverance1...the venue, an investor conference London, Sept 2019.

Light Crude
Sulfur content and weight are the two qualities by which crude oil is typically judged. High-sulfur, heavy oils are the lowest quality and the least expensive on the global market. Low-sulfur, light oils bring the highest price because they are of the highest quality.
Hydrocarbon accumulations derived from the Bahamian source rocks are thought most likely to occur in deep prospects in the foredeep close to the known Cuban effective source rock system. Hydrocarbon quality is likely to be influenced by the source rock system and provides aromatic oils and (depending on the source) possible traces of sulfur. Gravities are likely to be in the 35 to 40° API range. Degradation processes are unlikely to have negatively affected oils generated. Dr Steve Thompson Patrick Barnard Applied Petroleum Technology (UK)
Light crude oil: API gravity higher than 31.1 °API (less than 870 kg/m³) Medium crude oil: API gravity from 31.1 °API to 22.3 °API (870 to 920 kg/m³) Heavy crude oil: API gravity from 22.3 °API to 10 °API (920 to 1000 kg/m³) Extra-heavy crude oil: API gravity below 10 °API (higher than 1000 kg/m³)
Simon Potter CEO said
"The well will be drilled to the highest environmental and safety standards over the next 45 - 60 days. could prove to be transformative - not just for our company, but for the nation and people of The Bahamas as a whole. I very much look forward to updating shareholders with results once the well has been completed.

There's no problem, the only problem I see is a bunch of trolls collectively attempting to start malicious rumours.
Who was the poster who said Page of Cups posts yesterday removed? surprisingly none have been removed.

Last night
I agree the sound was awful, however, I do remember a few of Simon Potter's & Eytan Uliel presentations from Australia of similar sound quality, pure bloody awful. I would suggest to the company to drop the link-up from Oz in future unless a more professional approach is taken. Clarity is everything, unfortunately, last night we were left with anything but. Not helped by our own BPC personality of the year Mr Rayner. He must have read our chat boards before recording his monologue. The most popular view on our chat board on the forthcoming BPC presentation was the presenter would not be able to hide his delight and stop smiling if there was a huge oil find...Well as anyone who viewed last nights presentation was left in any doubt, Bahamas Petroleum management was definitely not telling anyone and Nathen made absolutely sure of that!
