ABOUT THIS WEBINAR on Tuesday 20th April
Pantheon Resources (AIM: PANR) is an oil and gas exploration company with a portfolio of high impact projects located onshore USA, on the Alaska North Slope. Pantheon has a 100% working interest in all its projects, which span approximately 160,000 acres. Pantheon additionally has 3D seismic covering 1,000 square miles over and around its acreage. Over $250m and 10 years of work has been invested in the assets to date.
Pantheon’s projects offer significant advantages over other undeveloped Alaskan oil projects because it is located underneath and adjacent to main transportation infrastructure in Alaska, specifically Trans-Alaska Pipeline (TAPS) and the Dalton Highway .
One of Pantheon’s flagship assets is the Greater Alkaid project, over which an Independent Export Report published in January 2020 confirmed that Greater Alkaid has a Contingent Resource of 76.5 Million Barrels of Recoverable Oil.
In 2021 Pantheon has been drilling and testing the Talitha #A well, which the director believes offers the potential in a success case to unlock over 1 billion barrels of oil on one of Pantheon’s other flagship projects, the Talitha project. The Talitha well encountered five independent horizons, all of which encountered hydrocarbons and all of which warrant testing. The deepest of these five zones, the Kuparuk, is being tested in the Talitha #A well in April 2021. It is intended that the remaining zones will be tested in 2021/2022 drilling season.
As well as providing a general update, Pantheon’s presentation will focus on the Talitha #A well following the completion of testing operations for the Kuparuk horizon, the deepest of five oil-bearing zones encountered. Pantheon’s pre-drill resource estimate for the Kuparuk horizon alone was 1.4 billion barrels of oil in place with 341 million barrels of recoverable oil.

Short on Pantheon love it someone is sat with a ticking time bomb.
We have 20th April as a backstop for news and all dates up to that point.
I wouldn't want to be trying to close that on the back of a Kuparuk discovery.
We still also have the scenario where Faralon read the Rns's come to their senses and hold their stock for the bigger prize.
Just starting to do some work towards valuations post Kuparuk (which I will leave until after the result) One thing I do note and has been ignored is Canacord don't include the 2 BFF or Slope Fan at this time. Given all 3 zones are cased with oil shows and indications of multi million barrel potential I could make a strong case that these 3 zones on a risked basis is worth an awful lot more than the current market cap on their own.
Massive opportunity exists for buyers at this time as far as I am concerned wishing all holders very good luck.

Hi Alistair This is indeed for our rig. The press release says they are releasing the rig as they do not need it for the continuing test on Talitha - they can just keep the flow kit on-site and then demob it in smaller trucks. But it helps to get the rig out the way as soon as we no longer needed to run pipe in or out of the hole. All best Tele

To give you an idea of scale, ***IF*** and I repeat ***If*** the PANR/GB geological model proves to be correct, the asset will easily exceed the Alpine oilfield in size and may be approaching the Kuparuk River Unit's size. Let's face it, did you expect all 4 horizons at Talitha to be worthy of flow-testing? Did you anticipate PANR encountering a 5th horizon at Talitha? And so you can make the connection between Talitha and the 30mile x 10mile x 2000ft thick hydrobarbon column now classified as Theta West (see January's SoA lease auction results), when reading about Talitha and its targets, the BFF = Theta West, and the Kuparuk pitches in too."
Exactly. BFF = Theta West. What will the enhanced cuttings and coring analysis tell us? It could be astounding.

This! is the first time that Jay has called this a multi-zone discovery.
I am hoping the market spits the dummy as we have the opportunity to bet on the outcome of a race where we already know who won before they announce the result of the photo finish...

Preliminary information in from North Slope
Pantheon Resources, whose affiliate Great Bear Pantheon drilled the Talitha A well on state land this winter, said that it encountered five zones in the central North Slope well, “all of which are hydrocarbon-bearing and warrant testing.”
Prior to drilling the company said Talitha A’s target was “the shallowest Shelf Margin Deltaic horizon as the primary objective” and would also “drill through a number of secondary objectives including: (i) the ‘Slope Fan System’, (ii) the ‘Basin Floor Fan’, and (iii) the ‘Kuparuk’ horizons.”
“Since the pressure exceeded our predrill estimates we are proceeding cautiously with all wellbore and testing operations and will report results to shareholders once available,” Pantheon said.
Pantheon is currently testing “the deepest” of the horizons encountered in Talitha A, the Kuparuk, where it ran into “higher than expected reservoir pressure which is very good news.”
The company said that this “along with the exceptionally light oil we have collected as samples during circulating gives us optimism.”
Pantheon, however, said it cannot draw any definitive conclusions until testing operations have been completed in the Talitha unit well.
Prior to drilling Pantheon estimated the Talitha well would target approximately 1 billion barrels of recoverable oil across the multiple stacked (primary and secondary) objectives. An independent expert’s report was completed on the updip section of the Shelf Margin Deltaic, the primary target, and confirmed a prospective resource of 302 million barrels of recoverable oil, the company said.
