Perseverance #1 will be drilled in 518 m (1,700 ft) of water to a TD of 4,822 m (15,820 ft), but this could be extended to 5,600 m (18,372 ft) in order to assess multiple reservoir horizons throughout the entire stratigraphic column below the Tertiary cover.
That, however, will depend on real-time drilling results and geological data.

EXPLORATION WELLS EXPECTED IN 2021 HIGHLIGHTED BY WESTWOOD AS ‘KEY WELLS TO WATCH
Westwood has highlighted 20 wells in 2021 as ‘key wells to watch’. The wells selected to fall into four categories:
Two are frontier basin tests which, if successful, can open multi-billion barrel plays (Venus offshore Namibia,
Perseverance offshore Bahamas)
Full details of Westwood’s Key Wells to Watch are available in the report published in December 2020 with commentary and analysis on the play, prospectivity, risks and implications of success. A subset of these will be presented in Westwood’s Webinar on Wednesday 20th January 2021.

Do you think the 2 are in bed together? Roseanne / Proselenes making a twosome!
Linton78 are you around?
re Proselenes on Lse same de-ramping poster as Pro_S2009 over on ADVFN he/she writes similar posts
I also spotted a quote some time ago by Proselenes relating to LSE BPC chat board on ADVFN, his quote:
"just like to wind up the arrogant BPC traders who wait for a spike, then short and then close their short.
Makes them a few pounds but kills the momentum but that's the market today, everyone is nervous"

7) Plug and abandon the well and recover BOPs. The well will be abandoned whether it is a success or not and take +/- 6 days
BPC have stated the well could be deepened to 5600m which would probably mean running 9.5/8" casing or liner then drilling 8.1/2" hole. I suspect this is what the $5m contingency is for.
All this is based on my experience on similar projects"
Thanks again Coman, hope one day to see you back - would save lots of questions...Bynari
