Morning Novae. Unsuprisingly FTSE getting hammered today, should not effect NCYT as we are a "special situation" rather than "market" stock. However,for those in other shares rather than just NCYT probably worth reviewing your portfolios-could be a rough ride in the FTSE for a while. I have cut ITV and LGEN for now.

Kind of what we needed. Profit takers have largely gone after the last few days, alot less volume and a much more civilised/informed board today with all the spivs and derampers cleared out. See you all tomorrow Novae.

I do not believe their are many shorts in this stock. Technically it is very hard to short because it is owned by PIs (who do not lend their stock out to shorters) rather than institutions that have specific borrowing departments that lend out stock to professional shorters and charge to do so-called "the cost of borrow". Big instos can make alot of money from this lending activity.Weakness here is profit taking and market maker activity, not shorters

Much calmer open compared to last three days. Lets hope for a close somewhere in the 820s and consolidate around there until the inevitable news comes.

Yes Kaeren,new buyers last night,but to have buyers,you also need sellers,so yes there is profit taking,it is natural and always happens in all shares that go on meteoric rises in a short time.No disrespect meant but this is simple supply and demand.

For goodness sakes it went up in a straight line for 2 weeks, a pullback, though not pleasant, is inevitable.What we do need now though is to find a base and consolidate for a while before fundamental valuation and news flow takes us higher.All the RNS junkies do not help either.They will release one when they have a significant announcement to make,not before.Hats off to LTHs,but too many get rich quick boys appearing on this board recently.

100% agree Routy-This is an extremely healthy pullback on large volumes.My suspicion is this:
-Lots of instos in the wings wanting to get in.
-Near £10 many, many PIs were looking to top slice or sell out.
-Market makers understood this, ran the shares up early and then brought it down hard when PIs started to sell, trying to induce panic selling.I suspect the market makers need to get some inventory on board too in order to start satisfying the institutional demand.

If only I had a bit more cash I would be buying here.

Agree Popz and I think you will get it.Despite all the bravado on here,I think £10 will understandably prove irresistible to some to start taking a bit of profit, plus as you suggest some consolidation is healthy.I do think though that once the profit takers are out it moves considerably higher driven by further news flow and institutions chasing a very small number of outstanding shares (71million).

When Numis were appointed as broker we finally got a quality broker with great institutional contacts (unlike S P Angel).I pointed out at the time that this was a huge bull point.We had, and still have a perfect storm namely:
-PI dominated register.
-Hugely fundamentally undervalued.
-Great technical position with no instos on the register except Octopus . We are now going to get a big inflow of institutional cash.I said at the time do not sell to them but hold on unless you really need the cash.
Volumes in the last few days have been huge-the institutions have arrived and Numis is getting buy orders.Contrary to popular belief, most big institutions have small cap funds that can buy AIM stocks.
Now this is the important point ,the chart looks very scary, but the institutional analysts will have their valuation and cashflow models out and are still seeing this is very undervalued and despite the rise they can still get 50-100% upside here over the next 3-9 months- not many of their shares offer this, so they are piling in as the huge volumes show, supported by further PI buying.

Bottom line HOLD ON unless you need the cash.The institutionalisation is just starting ,enjoy the ride-we only have a minuscule 71 million shares outstanding and have no need to issue more.These shares are scarce and the instos want them.
