See,I think we are going to have to agree to disagree here .I remember working with an acquisitive PLC where the Directors were fed up because we kept imposing Close periods on them so they could not buy shares.So agree to disagree and lets concentrate on NCYT.

Info-think it applies to non execs as well.But again not 100% sure.

SeeThree official close periods occur before big news is announced-FACT.However,that will not include contract news if they do not know yet if they have won a tender.

After to be honest I have forgotten the exact timescale.I think maybe 2-3 weeks, but don't accept that as gospel.

However,I am firmly in the "we do not need an RNS camp" as the value and potential here is self evident.

Very good news but means no operational update in the wings as he could not buy ahead of an operational announcement.But still a great signal.

I have a call with the Company tomorrow-time tbc If anyone has any questions let me know and I will post answers tomorrow evening assuming the site is up. I will be trying to get a better handle on financing timetable and a few other bits and pieces. Obviously got to be careful not to try and get into any price sensitive stuff as I would like to keep the lines of communication open over the next 3-4 years as the projects develop.

Sympathies for everyone today. It has been painful for us all. The dust will settle, testing will continue and this stock will remain very volatile, we just have to live with that. But we have excellent management, a careful and considered strategy, huge amounts of cash by now and we are fundamentally cheap. Publication of news and numbers will eventually show us how cheap.

As for the brokers their performance today was appalling and should be investigated. I use two platforms:
1.A.J.Bell-were down all day ,having crashed last week too-costing me money .I have written a pretty blunt message to them tonight. I suggest you all do the same with your respective brokers be it HL, Halifax or whoever.
2.EQi-who remained open all day and where I was able to trade with no problems. If you have had enough of your existing broker I suggest you give EQi a call-they are highly efficient.

NotReady take a look at Acacia Mining owned by Barrick if you want to see what can go wrong.I have 1 million shares here because I like the economics a lot and because ACP have mitigated the risk somewhat by appointing the appropriate local directors.Armadale are also used to operating in high risk environments-DRC is much hairier than Tanzania.If this was in Namibia or Botswana I would own 7 million shares not I million.I have been personally legged over twice in Tanzania,it is a very corrupt business environment,but people who know how to play the game can and do make a lot of money.Hopefully Armadale will be one.I also take comfort that Kabunga Holdings (the largest shareholder) is owned by a Tanzanian resident in Australia.I

Rover,if they get the license,I would hang around here.As you say the economics of this project are excellent.We can still make good money as long as Mega fool and his cronies allow us to get on with it.

Dictatorship yes possibly ,civil war almost certainly not.Apart from the Masai the Tanzanians are a remarkably peaceful ( if corrupt) people.

Yes, unfortunately this is Tanzania, one of the most corrupt countries in Africa.You have to accept this before you invest (I am invested).However ,this type of thing is unfortunately very common in Africa and is a local squabble so should not affect our license.However,other things might ,like how much we have to pay in bribes to finally secure the licence.I have operated in Tanzania, sadly This is the way the country works.Corrupt to the core.

Thinking about it,may well be Octopus,they hold in a “ micro cap” fund.We are no longer micro cap, so they could be forced sellers as NCYT has breached their market cap limit....only speculation, but would make sense.

Some of the early institutions have been selling down to take profits or risk readjust their portfolio,but according to Morningstar only Blackrock and Octopus hold this many shares.Doubt it is Blackrock,but could be Octopus-they were very early in.Otherwise a very lucky PI who bought 165,000 shares in January!!
