I agree with JAdam here-you should not really be in companies where you do not rate or trust management.They are trying to redeem themselves, cut them some slack or shut up and sell up.

There has been plenty of buying in the last 6 days and I had hoped this would have cleared out this persistent large seller. But apparantly not as last night's 1.5m sale showed us. Until he has gone or we get concrete positive news on licence and funding we are stuck for the time being. Fingers crossed for news.

HarChris-you are absolutely correct....blow out all predictions. Just do your back of fag pack arithmatic, read the news, watch the analysis on here and think cash generating machine-that is all you really need. Numbers when we get them will be blow out and all forecasts will have to be revised significantly up. That is when the share price really moves. I cannot understand why some worry so much. If you do not get it best to sell, then you will sleep better....until it doubles again of course.

I suggest everyone read the lead headline on Bloomberg this morning....it says Testing...not Vaccine!!

If this was not already anticipated and expected by the market,I have no idea what was.No reason for the shares to drop....we know about vaccines,concentrate on the reams of testing news Novae.

Game316, exactly what I was thinking,I hope you are right, this thing could really move next week, even before news flow drops.
Assuming the news flow over the next week/ months is good and by the end of Jan we find ourselves in possession of a mining licence and fully financed, we must then be a hugely attractive takeover target.I for one sincerely hope that we do not succumb to an early bid,as we could easily be 30p a share here in 3 years just on fundamentals.Hopefully Matt Bull with his 7% is viewing a longer picture.I do not know the man,but if Tones or anyone else who may have insight on this would care to comment,I would be very interested.
As an aside I am heavily in HZM,which is in a similar position to ACP,waiting for finance news,prime assets etc,again on that one I am hoping management go the duration into production before ever contemplating a bid.

Agree Vauxhall, Glencore’s ESG record is appalling in places like DRC,which is completely counter to HZM’s efforts in this area, which they stress as being so important.Glencore has a generally rather crooked reputation.Hopefully they will act as a equity cornerstone only with Teck and Orion calling the shots.

Sorry Murt,do not know the site.Remember the market size is officially only 30,000 shares, we may have just cleared a persistent sellers if you are trying to buy size you may have to pay over offer now.If you can get in at 3.75/3.85p you should still have plenty of upside.Your call entirely of course.

and how much more he/she has got.Problem with PI dominated AIM stocks you often get sellers whose economic circumstances changed they are forced sellers.This will get more common unfortunately in this economic environment.

North and Was a-you are probably right here,but I still think there is a 20% chance they will let existing minorities in for a small piece, maybe wishful thinking though.Anyway we will know soon enough.

I spend quite a bit of time wondering what this will look like.
I mentioned some weeks ago the SAGA PLC fundraise in September.As I am sure you know SAGA are an over 50s company specialising in insurance and leisure (cruises for over 50s).Oviously the cruise business got smashed by Covid, though the insurance business remained profitable.They announced a £150m fund raise in September whereby the founder Sir Roger de Haan agreed to inject £100m in at 27p,a 98% premium to the then prevailing price, offer shareholders £15m at 15p and take up the balance himself at 15p.
Now HZM is very different.SAGA was a rescue issue with a founder who wanted to protect his legacy and go full in, but also offere the shareholders an attractive price (in this case a slight premium to the then existing market price, but a huge discount to his price).
I wonder if HZM will secure the equity piece with say 70% going to the key cornerstones (Teck, Glencore, Cannacord and perhaps a couple of other institutions ) at a price of 10-11p and then offer us a discount on the balance at say 7p,but underwritten there by the cornerstones.This asset is hugely strategic to Teck and Glencore and they know the potential value is far greater than 10/11p a share.However,HZM also know that they have a group of loyal and quality PIs who have been the only buyers recent months(this was acknowledged in my recent call).
This is all obviously pure speculation by me, but I think that this type of deal is not beyond the realms of possibility, though there are plenty of other ways to raise the equity.

Understand completely why some will do this-personally I will not.
HZM ,Peel Hunt and Paradigm (their Canadian broker) will be doing the institutional rounds once financing is complete and announced. Although this is an AIM stock, thus precluding some funds to buy it, there will be many who can and will. I speculate that the institutional buying will outstrip the PI profit taking meaning we move into the 20s easily in 2021.The institutionalisation of the share register is one of several very good reasons to hold this stock in my opinion and I am desperately hoping we do not get taken out before 2025.
