Jollygoodya-I agree with you on all counts, but unfortunately the brokers often let a bit of fast money (hedge funds) into these deals and I think that may explain the selling. Might as well short at 12p if you know how many shares you are going to be allocated at 11p-really easy trade.Fortunately that will work through pretty quickly though.

As per previous post-hope this was heavily oversubscribed and went to quality institutions. If it went to hedge funds they will short their allocation at any price above 11p and cover that short when allocated.

Thought they could have done better than that given the apparant quality of the acquisition.Was hoping for 12.5p plus.

Not sure that this will open down very much-if heavily oversubscribed buyers will be looking to fill their balances. Think the shares will end the day very much in the blue.

At a first glance this looks hugely accretive. Was not expecting this,but looks transformational.

Personally ascribe zero value to Chad-too much political and Al Shebab risk, plus a logistical nightmare.There is so much value elsewhere in the portfolio that Chad does not matter-if one day it comes good that is just a bonus.

This has had a big run from the very undervalued 5s in February to 16p ish today.Now appears to be consolidating very healthily with selling well bought into.With so many catalysts in Q3 it has run again surely? My own target is 25p by end of Q3.

Anyone holding any other miner with a post tax IRR of 125%?
My closest is ACP on 93% with no ML yet or funding.
The economics here are quite incredible and you get a free pure play ride in the gold-we all need that given the inflation that is on its way-do not believe the central banks instead talk to small manufacturing businesses owners or cannot find staff or basic raw materials.
The lithium here is fantastic, but the pure gold company should do you well too.

Strummer-seems to be the same old PI seller-apparently very large-but reason for sale unknown.I would guess distressed at this point in time-cannot see anyone mad enough to short it at this stage.

...IRR of 125% is truly incredible, my only other holding that comes close is ACP(graphite) at 93%,but they still have no ML and finance negotiations are still ahead for them.

Tribal-maybe do a bit more research on the balance sheet.

Doorstop-I am sure they were, they looked very vulnerable 2-3 weeks ago.Things have now changed and any bid will have to be at a fuller value.
