Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Symbo1, cheers. Its all bloody confusing, for example if you want to fly into Portugal/Faro you need to be a resident + you must have a test before you leave the UK + you get tested at Faro airport - Then its a 3 hour wait. I know several people who flew out of Luton and Newscastle in the lat 10 days this has happened too. Its all good news, regardless who gets what contract they will need millions upon millions of tests...
Morning Symbol, where did you read this information?
warleb, assassinate, that is good one.
Manifesto, Dick Turpin terrortory!
Theosus, yes, they have the bike range. They also where the 1st to bring out the graphene mask, its still the only one that states what it does and is backed by paperwork, the other two on the market don't match it, bit vague in their marketing. There is a HK working on a graphene mask similar to the masks you see in the hospitals.
What are the odds today he announces that masks must be worn when outside your home? I was expecting last night some news on masks. Its a bit strange for him to come back less than 21 hours later, I think he forget his notes on masks yesterday, come on Boris, don't fxxk this one up.
fatbanker, for some reason I don't get a second graph, maybe I need to be signed into Bing to see it. Here is the officail SA site:
https://sacoronavirus.co.za/
I did learn Vanuatu has no cases, I spent a year in Oz and never heard of the islands. Looks a nice spot, got Fuji on my list to visit so will add this on.
Shuggy, good post. For me the clothing sector is going to be huge, there is some bike gear out, Billabong have a wetsuite, a company making gloves and on it goes. Graphine ink will also be widely used, that is going to be big industry, think interactive posters. At the moment the commercial side for the retail sector (B2C) is not there, need a lot more companies, probably brands such as Nike to drive this forward to get the word graphene into the publics mindset.
The link below is worth having a look at:

Richmond999, correct mate. SA has a new strain, no idea if the vaccine will counter this - regardless, SA are getting 10% of doses, western world first. Going to need billions and billions, last time I got bored I counted the world population, got to 7.8 billion and gave up. We are in this boat for years and years and just think if this virus mutates into something different, less virulent or more - Restart the programme...bloody depressing!
jh2704, of course its real, not following you, glad she is having it done. There have been a million already done in December, my point is what BJ said about 2 millon per week and by end of Feb (granted he said IF) the top 4 would be completed - I am just saying that is pie in the sky - BJ is being coach/IMO by a top psychologist - Everything negative is followed by a positive, watch his speeches/the way he talks when they are off the cuff, the positive is there, not the negative - Last night was a perfect example of this - Tell the masses the bad negative news and straight after the good positive news.
eatstocks, the NCCC (national coronavirus command council) are meeting tomorrow morning, the medical and goverment/bit like the UK COBRA all meet - Ramaphosa has to then decide what to do on their advice. If Ramaphosa books up a live TV interview on Wednesday afternoon, possibly Thursday it won't be good news. I think its a done deal for a lockdown, its not good on the ground and Zim are already in lockdown. They should keep the mines open with most essential businesses. What they need to do is ramp up testing and some more, without this strategy and winter coming its not going to be pretty.
The other trainsmash is that a around 10% of Vac doses are heading to SA, so that will feed the top end, but forget about the people, from what I understand western Europe first, SA, Africa are somewhere in the queue. With the new mutation, possible tweeks in the existing Vacs - You get the picture.
Jon2020, the next question is when does she need the second vac (not the 2 part) - This scenario of yearly jabs for how long? Looks like masks are part of our lives and testing being the real game changer.
He (BJ) probably forgot the 'wear a mask' option last night, or I did not mean mid Feb, I meant mid March, turns out to be mid April by tomorrow. Farcical - Spoke to my uncle, he works for the a worldwide pharma/there vac is on the way/one jab does all/anyway, he tells me the UK Gov are cutting down forests to use as paper for the 'people' who will adminster the vacciness. Paper work is obscene from what he says...2 million a week, another BS line that will take several weeks to even get close to.
Dixie1964, I would of thought its in the UK, unless the factory was closed for the holidays - Everyone is back to work today, so if its not in the UK, Friday will be the day for arrival.
zulu-one, that is true. Unforeable, and there lies the big problem why its spreading. Who in Soweto will wear masks, 10 to a hut, bloody joke. Mr. Ramaphosa needs to speak to RMS and put an order in, if you going to make it mandatory for people living on next to zilch, give them the mask - Wait, lets close the bottle stores down instead!
Roharps, its being reported in the SA press it will take 6 weeks to work out if the new variant can beat the current Vacs. Its also worth knowing that only 10% of vacciness have been allocated for SA/not arrived yet. That's the second biggest economy in Africa - Tells you these Vacs are for the western world for at least 18 months - There is so much business for these masks, all down to the BOD to put the money raised into machines and start producing sharpish.
Fourfiguresbull, I hear you with Spain, but its hard to compare Spain with the UK, same with Portugal and the UK and NZ. Outside of the major cities like Madrid, Seville/Portugal/Lisbon, Porto etc people tend to listen to the local câmara instructons (fica em casa) plus the cops have more local knowledge, they know everyone/grown up with all the locals, hunt together, football etc etc...Even the foreigners know the local cops pretty well. My point being when the locals outside the cities are told to do something, they do it. I am over in Portugal, South, we have just come out of full lockdown, 4 days over the new year...everyone has to wear a mask, you can't even cross your local câmara/council area borders, if you get caught you are in for a heavy fine.
Try that in the UK, imagine it/even in France/Germany you wouldn't get away with it. The result being the cases in the South of Portugal are tiny, in my area there are 60,000 people and we have 2 cases (reported).
You know the old saying, 'with liberties come responsibilities'
Looks like Boris is on TV at 8 tonight, I take a punt and it goes like this, ' I did say yesterday in two weeks blah blah, but after 'new' information I am locking you all down from Thursday' rubs his hair with his hand!
Fourfiguresbull, agreed, I am no fan of either. My point was they need someone who will do what needs to be, both of those two/whether you agree with everything they did or not, got things done, thick skin they are all called where I come from. Boris is weak, thin skin - great for bringing in the Olympics, a good time oke...but he is and all the opposition are bloody useless, to scared to make the hard calls.
HNY Trickymatters, its all a bloody mess. I don't even think Boris knows what is going on, he is a 'good time PM', not for a war like this, last nights broadcast was a joke. I saw the Daily Fail article, not sure if its true. I can tell you over in SA there are big issues, most going unreported - Big problem there is the TB, mixed with CV, and then to top it off HIV - Plus there is no chance of them or most of Africa getting the Vacs first, its a western drug first, read what you want into that.
One option open for the UK, lock it all down and ride it out till end of March the earliest and get the tests out to the critical workers and those who deal in services etc to keep the country ticking over. Sounds grim, but this IMO is where we are at, just need Thatcher or Blair, someone with balls to stand up and tell everyone the reality of the shxt we are in.
@RegulatorUK, I think you are right. Coupled with the fact that there is no research on the Pfizer Vac for a 12 week gap between the initial vaccine - Then Boris putting it out last night to expect more severe measures over Tier 4, 2 weeks he mentioned, more feeding the masses, I would be surprised if this new lockdown is not in force by this Friday. The Daily Mail article/to be believed or not is another matter/stating the SA variant will not respond to the vaccines...Where ever you look its a shxt storm coming. In Portugal a nurse died a few days ago after the Vac/so the anti feeling is growing fueled by the media.
Testing is going to be a trillion (s) $ business, we are just on the journey.
Morning Libero, shame they don't allow a pin posts for a certain amount of time. Keep up the good work.
