The extension is till 14/05/25 which means that by this date Wood will be able to publish the Accounts before Sidara takes a call. It is a scandal for Company to be handed over to Sidara at a low valuation 35 p. The Company could have easily avoided suspension by publishing Accounts before end of the month. They want the suspension so that institutional investors move out and they can justify the low price. There can also be a possibility that Sidara will quote a lower price say 30 p and the Board will accept. The management should be held responsible for the mess but they are in a way rewarded by heaving a silent deal with Sidara

Even if KEFI secures gold there are other challenges to be met which I do not think Harry Adams has the ability to deal with it. Gold mining is not about digging hole and extracting gold. There is mote to it and KEFI under Harry Adams will not be able to deliver

I am not sure why the BOD is desperate to sell the Company to Sidara at 35 p. There is something very fishy. Technically restatement and its audit can be done in a months time and Wood Group management has plenty of time to do the restatement and its audit. Something does-not seem right. BOD wants all negatives to be priced in so that people are desperate to move on with 35 p valuation. Personally I will not sell but with no confidence on honesty of the BOD I am also not buying at such cheap price. BOD is not only destroying wealth of shareholders but also the Scottish economy. £1.2 billion debt will also include Leasehold debt for 68 to 80 long-term office Leases they have currently and monies they own to Banks would be in region of £850 to £900 million which can be easily be secured and paid off over period of time from their £6 billion yearly revenue

@Mithrel - Nothing is going to happen. We are hearing these forward looking loose statement from Harry Adams since years now. THere is no need to be optimistic or to cheer unless you are one of the fake account created by Harry for propaganda purpose

@mimbrit. You are right. The question to be asked is - Before the bid in Feb 25 Sidara had given a conditional offer based on which they were allowed access to data and reports of Wood Group. The question to be asked is - was the conditional offer below 35 p or at level of 35 p or was it way above say £1 and revised to 35 p

@ Rizzel. Your friend should have bought the diagnostic machine before placing a deposit. In the current case Sidara has placed an offer after considering the merits of purchase in details.

The valuation of £300 million for Wood group is manipulated - the parties being Wood management, Sidara and Financial advisers. The valuation is a joke for a Company which has $ 6 billion Revenue and in highly niche area of consulting work in Energy industry. If one sees the sequence of events - £1.5 billion initial bid last year then withdrew. Then series of profit warnings from Wood Group. Then Accounts being reviewed by Deloitte. Then CFO resigning. Then 2 liner report from Deloitte and now the offer and its acceptance. All these events seems to be pre-planned to suppress the share price. The shorts were manipulating to make sure that price remains at 35 p levels. The only hope we see is if few of large shareholder become activist and does not allow the Sale or a new bidder supported by large shareholders comes into picture (which is most likely). Wood Group Plc is a fine Company with talented individuals with with rich experience. The valuation is at bottom end and there is a possibility that it could be revised to respectable value of 70 p

Bonker - ignore Crazytower. I guess he is Harry Adams posting and trilling in his name. It is high time to realize that Harry has made promises which are never kept for last 15 years. The funding was first to be closed by Sep 24 then Dec 24 then promised for Mar 25 and now shifted to Jun 25. We are all duped

@ UPShunt - we should report to FCA the incorrect RNS update which Harry has mastered the art. Ne t update would be that the bankers have given commitment to give funding after completion of wet season in Sep just to keep hopes alive and in between find a gullible investor to invest in rights issue @0.35 p and dilute existing rights of shareholders

UK FTSE is Bear driven. Investors tend to lose in short term and in long term make average profits. I expected that there is at-least an attempt to move to US listing which is not so. I would imagine Shakespeare is looking at earnings growth in short term (6 months to a year from now) and sale of Company (1 to 2 years time)

Also currently the Company is making loss of £45,000 on each vehicle sold and unless the production / sales is ramped up this loss will widen. The Company has always blamed supply chain management which is not true. It is sheer incompetence of the current management team and supply chain issues is all internal mismanagement and external factors are not at play

I had originally purchased at 170 p and later purchased more at 105 p to bring the average to 132 p. I then sold out the entire holding at loss @ 106 p. It is not only the tariff but also operational and financial mis management by Lawrence and his management team. Even if tariff are lifted the price will hover in range of 70 p to 90 p and if the increase tariff structure stays for more then a year then there is a good possibility of Company making a default in payment of interest / creditors unless additional Equity is brought in by Lawrence. My. Gump. Your prediction of Hyper inflation is nowhere in sight since your many years of your prediction. In fact we have seen low inflation and interest rates from years except for a spike since COVID and with inflation remaining at 2.8 % there are no signs of hyper inflation in near future. With government restricting borrowings the future does-not seem to be bleak. The best possible thing for KEFI is that the rights of KEFI operations in Ethopia should be taken over by good mining Company (like Barrick or Endeavor) which can make investment in mining of gold. The takeover COmpany can either settle the payment of rights by issuing shares of its Company or offering outright CASH at reasonable price of 1.5 p per share

Today I sold all my investment in Capita and invested the same in yougov. The share price is stagnated despite the fact that the Company is in better shape operationally and financially.

Expect share price to soar by 100 p i.e. 30 % on good results, fantastic update on forecast and news like moving from AIM to US listing. Shakesphere always wanted yougov to move out of AIM and get on to US listing

I respect Savage for his prediction as he has been right most of the time though my prediction was always positive for Capita. Probably we are not in touch with the market variables like short position and sentiments. I still believe Capita is good investment but question is at what price? What if the price post consolidation will slip to £1. This is a worry point for me. I may therefore switch off from Capita investment until clarity is received on share price movement post consolidation

Thanks SYNOOGOLD. I agree to your post - the probability of offer is now more then before the extension date and likely-hood of offer is 75% to 80%. In my view the deal will be finalized at value near to Enterprise Value which is near to £900 m which will price per share value to £1.31
