and investing in anything SHOULD be a personal balance of risk/reward, as everyone is different in this respect.

Yes, but we won't know this date until any deal is announced by the BOD. I would imagine the cut off day would be the day before the announcement to stop a flood of people piling in only to get the divi, but we will have to wait and see!

You won't have to apply for it, if you hold shares on or before the eligibility date you will receive it.
A. If you have a certificated share dealing account the cheque will be sent to you.
B. If you have an online trading account / isa the money will be credited to that account.

There's loads of dodgy companies out there and although you are not directly comparing the AA that is a company who's best days are long past it!
If you take the time to investigate this company properly and even ignore today's RNS you will see that the fundamental's are sound.

There's obviously been work going on with this JV since 2019 and I believe a resource upgrade could be on the horizon!

All we can do is wait and see.
Until we have confirmation of what exactly is being sold and its implications we can only sit and wait. I have held and strengthened my position over time so am happy till hold on until "the fat lady" (Or Dmitry!) sings.

Correct we do not have figures, and that is why the SP is languishing where it is, but you've got to be in it to get the divi and if 75% (+) of the assets are being sold this will be a substantial amount.

The reason the price is / has fallen is because most people have got no "bottle" and it's the same with the wider market!
People jump in and out of shares because of "something they've heard" or seen on "Twatter" and at the first sign of falling they panic and jump ship.
Anyone who has spent the time looking at this company, board of directors and assets in the ground could see that this was a peach that just needed the time to fully ripen.

Well there you go................
Assets could be greater than already stated,
The substantial sale is proceeding,
A dividend will be paid.
Time to hold on tight and get as many as physically possible into your ISA.......

Shares go up, Shares go down, if you've done you're research you will know this has the potential to go up greatly.
If you are not comfortable with this maybe the stock market isn't for you!

There can be any number of reasons but usually it is because people are selling, all the time people are selling the share price will go down (No need for the MM's to increase the sp to attract people to sell)
This can also be effected by large holders unloading shares to "create" a fall in the sp and then buy back later in the day, therefore ending up either with the same amount of shares for less money, or more shares for the same money. This has the result of lowering their "average" buy price.
MM's are also not unknown to employ tactics to fulfil a market order.

The fundamental's are there though aren't they?
When you look at the FACTS, materials in the ground, JV access, high proportion of open pit / low cost mining, zero debt, good access, commodity prices / world need the fundamental's are sound.
Even YOU must admit that!

Fails? Really?
Absolute worst case scenario is that we mine ourselves and things are delayed, but fails, not a chance.
IMO there will be a sale here, maybe not the full company sale which a lot of people were hoping for but whatever the outcome this company is worth more than 20p per share.
There are far to many "precious" metals here, and they are only going to get more desirable.

I've got no problem with de-ramping or negative opinions if it's backed by facts. In fact if there is something out there that I've missed the sooner I hear about it the better, but there's to many people who come on here (and other BB's) and just **** a share off without any facts!

Much of the current step back is due to China beating its chest as it knows rising commodity prices is not good for its economy. China is a massive importer of these metals.
All metals but especially those that we have access to, will grow in demand as the green revolution progresses.
