Again you're talking tripe, hydrogen fuel cells WILL play a very large part of the future going forward.
What do hydrogen fuel cells require? Platinum group metals!
There WON'T be battery powered shipping and aeroplanes for starters, and probably HGV'S.
It will be interesting to see Toyota (and others) properly throw their weight behind fuel cell passenger vehicles.

IMO there's loads happening behind the scenes, there will be further resource upgrades, additional licences / access, it will come, it's just timings (imo)

The thing with stocks is unless you choose badly, or are really unlucky you shouldn't lose the lot, you should get SOMETHING back....

When a realistic alternative to the gas boiler is here I will adopt it, but don't hit us with tax first!

If hydrogen can be made to work then fab, what we don't want is to have to spend £30,000 to have a ground source heat pump installed!

The problem is governments want to hit us with a big stick and tax us but they need to give affordable options FIRST, then raise tax to push people to change.
NOT increase taxes first!

What are the alternatives?
Air or ground source heat pumps?
Ground source heat pumps are MASSIVELY expensive to install, and you need a garden!
Air source works but are inefficient in the depths of winter, which is when you need it most.
Solar is great if you have a suitable house, not much fun if you have a flat in Newcastle?

Tax will undoubtedly go up especially on fuel as we approach 2030 but I wouldn't trust everything you read in the papers!
Governments put stories out like this to gauge public opinion.
Gas boilers are here for decades yet, if you buy a brand new house it will have a gas boiler.

I think you're right about where we are, and the framework for all this should be in place, but solicitors NEVER rush anything!
Would be nice to have this all done and dusted certainly before the end of the summer.....

The thing with solicitors as well is that the do like to waste time sending letters when a 2 minute phone call would sort the issue!
Hopefully it will be conducted under a "fixed fee" which should hopefully mean that they "pull their finger out"!!!!!!.....

The thing is there could be multiple countries involved here, certainly UK, Russia and Japan which we know of, could be more.
This will take as long as it takes, I am comfortable with this, but yes the sooner the better would be nice!

Not going to get to involved here but remember this is not like "cash in hand", there IS a paper trail.
If you have sold shares and made a profit I excess of allowances and its not in a tax free wrapper you will be liable for tax.
You can offset some PREVIOUS losses, but even if the money is still in a trading account its STILL YOU'RE ACCOUNT and will be liable.
Upto you if you risk it but you could go to prison if they go through you're history and you've took the p155....
