WE voted for the ability to raise extra shares and if it increases the asset base and therefore the company value it is not dilution.
And as for moaning that you've held for 2 years! if this completes and multi bags this will make many many people rich, yes it hasn't happened yet, but if you've held for 2 years it's already multi-bagged for you!
Yes we need that magic piece of the jigsaw but if you're not prepared to ride it out then either switch off or "take some profit"

Correct, dividends are normally paid as your share of the companies profits over that financial period BUT in this instance they would be paid due to an asset sale, as in theory being shareholders we own that asset!
The BOD, like a government WANT you to vote, they want a MAJORITY decision, there's 2.8 billion shares out there, we are just small cogs like it or not!

The thing is this is an international deal, probably major including several different countries and possibly billions of dollars,
These things take as long as they take.
We are shareholders but we are "small cogs" in this machine, the company comes first and not a few disgruntled shareholders who are having to wait a long time. Don't forget a company is like a government, it tries to do the best it can for the MAJORITY, if some are not happy with the timescales that's how it is.
The share issue and the secrecy around who the investor is tells me that they have a big connection to this deal, they will tell us what they can when it is prudent to do so.
They cannot jeopardize the deal by releasing details when contracts etc have not been signed.
I want this as much as everyone here, as I said yesterday when people are talking about "life changing" deals or "massive" dividends we all get excited and subconsciously make plans for it!
Hopefully we will get a Friday RNS to take the pressure off over the long weekend!

I say this because if it was it would have put them over the 3% threshold and it would have needed declaring?

That's how the stock market is, we all have shares that are not performing how we predicted.
The thing with this one is that in a "blink of an eye" it could be the best performing!
Yes it's a long wait, but we can all see the potential here!

Yes mac, its going to happen, I am 99.99% confident that we are going to make money here but the lack of detail / time is making people "twitchy"
People can sense "life changing" or MASSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE and want it now!
I am more than happy to sit back and wait but we can all sense the frustration!

The thing with the extra shares is that,
A. If the BOD use the money for business lunches and "pi55 it up the wall" it results in dilution, assets stay the same / more shares in issue.
B. BOD use the $20,000,000 to obtain further licences, new equipment, new JV then it increases the value of the company and if done wisely by MORE than the value of the dilution.
Option B is obviously the route we believe the BOD is heading down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been done to strengthen the company BUT WE HAVEN'T GOT ALL OF THE CARDS YET.
The share price won't "reset" without some idea of what to!

The market needs news. The share price is being held at this level as "there's a market", the market needs news to accurately reevaluate what they have.

IMO Anglo wouldn't be chasing a minimal amount, they would go after either the whole thing or as a 50% partner.
It will probably be an ii wanting a slice of the pie.

Correct, if the placing increases the value / asset base the company will obviously increase in value and negate the additional shares.
I want this deal to happen as much as everyone, we are all waiting in anticipation because it could be "life changing" but we need to trust the BOD and hopefully they can release more news soon.
We need detail, but they cannot jeopardise the possibility of it causing the deal to fall through!

I don't mind waiting as long as is necessary but it would be good to get some news that we can "get our teeth into"
Every option has been discussed to the nth degree so to get a better idea of where its heading would help settle the BB and hopefully get rid of the clowns for good!
