Assuming there's no collapse of the oil price (there won't be!) It should only be onwards & upwards from here.

New poster here, been in the shadow's for a while but finally bought in on Friday and added to that this morning following the great announcement last week.
Things are looking very good going forward especially with AA putting such a large amount of money up.

Not sure what the cost breakdown is of a gallon of fuel but I'm sure your not comparing "like with like"
A barrel of oil is one price, fuel (petrol/diesel) will have multiple additives/refining costs, Probably different taxes, the petrol retailers will have a mark up.
A gallon of fuel is always going to be a far greater price than a gallon of crude oil.
Or am I missing something with what your trying to say?

I'm with you on this one,
Oil will fall with the end of hostilities in the Ukraine but I just don't see it dropping below $85 or even $90 now that the Russian barrels are being squeezed out of the market.
The Rosneft issue "appears" to be priced in also as a worst case scenario.
Obviously things can change in an instant but I can only see the SP going up for the remainder of this year.

I would be interested to find out which companies make the highest profits AS A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR TURNOVER?
We know BP is making good profits (NOW) but it turns over around $300 Billion a year so the actual profit to TURNOVER is relatively low.
There must be companies out there "creaming it" with much higher profit margins (30, 40%???)
I will have a look into this later when I have more time.
