I don't disagree with that, there may well "eventually" prove to be a "commercial" accumulation somewhere in the local region, but it is almost certainly not this well, and almost certainly unlikely to find an accumulation/trap at this ultra shallow depth.

The question will always be if they can cherry pick from seismic where it is most likely to exist, and can they hit it if it does exist, and then is it commercial, is it mobile, is it viable, no one including me wants to see failure, but then I also don't like to see stupidity and simply wasting time and money either.

I wouldn't INVEST in ANY AIM oily, UKOG was one of my biggest makers in the early HH & BB days, but only as a short term punt.

I have been "punting" AIM oilies for over 20 years, and I track daily at least 20 outfits, many over the years have disappeared/dissolved, but virtually ALL of them have gone from pennies, some have gone to pounds, but virtually ALL end up back in the pennies or part pennies.

So if you take that as the general route, then INVESTING is a massive no no.. basically I look at punting the highlight areas of their outfit lives, and get the hell out of them at some point during those "events".

If you somehow think it gives me no right to post on an outfit just because I am not "invested" then you are sadly mistaken, and I can assure you that there will be a good number of folk who "claim to be INVESTED, but simply trade the sheite out of it lol... OR I could just say YES, of course I am Nibble, I hold 50 million of these puppies, lolll, just to appease those that think unless you hold stock you have no right to speak...

Source rock is not an accumulation/trap, where typical migrated hydrocarbons accumulate to hopefully be discovered and produced, source rock is basically deeper burial of organic materials that slowly degrade to create hydrocarbons, which then MIGRATE upwards, and if lucky are trapped below an impermeable layer (trap).

A bit like the Kimmeridge in the Weald basin, mostly the Kimmeridge is non commercial, but there are a few small areas where generation within the kimmeridge has migrated into traps/enclosures to give small commercial quantities to produce.

Basically if there is no trap then much of what a source rock generates is simply eventually lost to surface through seeps etc. That does not mean there is no trap or enclosure in the much greater area, the problem is finding it, and it is almost certainly no where near this hole at this shallow depth.

As this is just some extended geological liquids (water carrying seep oil) movement from a seep likely somewhere much further afield, then it really has little worth, other than re-confirming the same dribble of oil as was experienced when they drill through it last time.

There is no trap/closure, nothing really, thus why it borders on pointless.

TC, that is not the reality right now is it !! gas prices are rock bottom, 114p for Dec and nothing later above 120p, AND they are obviously having production issues since removal of the well test separator, and production is WAY down for couple weeks now.

Add that to the payday debt unknowns, well that makes seeing it as value or market worked in the eye of the individual, which is unlikely the reality with those factors to consider.

I suggest you listen to someone who has 20+ years of deep industry knowledge and experience, the oil in the MUD PITS was basically a skimming from the CIRCULATED drilling fluids while drilling.

As for the 4-/2" guns, I posted on twitter the same day the pictures were put up by UKOG and posted that they used the WRONG guns, and low and behold that is what was RNS'd a week or two later, pmsl....
