How do you propose they fund the CAPEX/OPEX, the velocity string/s, the "eventual" Booster compressor and associated workings, the new well in around 12 months time, and the 2nd new well in 2 years time ?? as well as debt servicing etc.

It is OK if there was no near term need for notable CAPEX/OPEX demands, but there is, so it very much changes the overall revenue and financing forecast for at least the next 12 month or more.

Why does it offer support ??

OPEC has been trimming production for approx 4 years now, which basically means most countries and producers are now running their fields at notably reduced flow rates, meaning there is a huge excess being held back, AND all OPEC are doing is continually trimming supply/demand to effectively create a FALSE floor on the barrel price.

Add to that, part of the reason they are needing to continually do this is because of the modern world ability to both create, manufacture and implement "green" energy alternatives, which are compensating global energy demand variations, and in some cases even reducing hydrocarbon demand in some countries.

We will always likely need hydrocarbons for many decades to come, but it is a slow dying entity.

It is a game this outfit and others play, they all try to put a bit of a "green" stamp on the "side", which in reality is just that, a sideshow to appease and supposedly adds a little balance to the portaloo folio of the companies.

The reality is most of them do nothing on the green side, even the "salt cavern storage" geezzz Storenergy spent £500m building their new salt caverns for gas storage down south, no small change to do that, especially when this outfit ain't barely got 2 farthings to rub together.

It goes from King of the Kimmeridge, to a wild Turkey shoot, to alternatives, to gas development, the idea being you always try to ensure you have alternatives that Pi's will latch on to as the "next big thing" King Leni will be dropping in soon to assist in the "save sando" appeal.... lol

Because this outfit I find interesting FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS, and having 30+ years of industry knowledge and experience enables me to ermmmm read between the poorly written lines, along with years of Weald information I have studied and stacked up.

I've seen borderline insanity from some Aim oilies over the last couple of decades, but I have to say this one sets the bar to a whole new level. As I said, it continues interesting for all the wrong reasons.

Agree with that, you did well, my biggest concern was with news on a few fronts due here, you jump around and end up missing one or both lol, and it was important to maximize accumulating at or lower than today. Jump around in the past and it went the wrong way couple times, hindsight is a wonderful tool lol....

Hopefully this lot will start delivering build up news feed anytime soon...... GLA

I 1000% believe they can deal with issues related to both B07T, even if that means bringing back and tying in the temporary separator again, and also the other options for improving liquids & gas flow to improve surface flowing pressures.

I noted in the CPR that there was reference to "coil tubing" availability as part of that process, and what I suspect they "may" do is a VERY simple running of maybe 2-1/8" coil within the production string to surface, cut it and anchor it off at surface, and that will be utilized as the "velocity" string/s. That would be a very quick and efficient way to implement a velocity string in the well, as apposed to basically doing a fuller workover, and pulling all tubing out etc etc...

I really hope they go for at least doing/trying this on A4 well first, before all this booster compressor stuff etc.

I think we will get initiation of onshore ops first, maybe assigned rig info and some kind of start up timing, and possible target info, and I am still hopeful that this news will be forthcoming anytime from now into the coming next few weeks.

Mainly I am hoping it goes this way first before Offshore info, as it "should" put some energy into the stock and provide a much better baseline for the Offshore anticipated news to build further on.

There are NO issues with pressure in the RESERVOIR, the problem is on the way up to surface and at surface, of which there are solutions, but in my opinion the "current" issue is more related to B07T and the removal of the well test separator, and sending all from B07T to the plant.

That is my take on it, each to their own !!!

It really is a mistake for outfits to "over" assume the market, and the same for investors too, it is just speculative and often leads to disappointment, especially if outfits start using forward market assumptions in their estimated revenues forecasts.

Always best to work on a more sedate baseline and treat any notable upside as a bonus. of course there will be fluctuations if there is a cold hard hit for a few weeks, but the current weakness is demonstrating that there is a degree of control now on supply/demand and that will make for much more marginal fluctuations regardless of the conditions.

Angus are going to have to get their act together on maximizing flow and at least make the best of whatever advantage winter prices offer. it isn't a big window and whatever the problem they have, it is having a big effect on rates & revenue.

Might be a short fuse, but there isn't much at the end of it lol....

It's ironic TC, you would really expect that Angus "could" clear the payday debt in full by January, including the other servicing's and daily costs etc, if they were to state they had done that in Jan, then I think they could claim a little kudos and it would establish a base of "some" confidence, but I somehow feel they won't, especially if they are suffering issues now from the B07T contributions without the additional separator.

;-))) your right, best we don't try to overly understand the logic, competency and general ability of this outfit, they have proven enough times that there are "some" ermmm shortfalls in most departments.....

Well that's gas down at 110p for Dec and not much above that for the later months, AND oil has just fallen off a cliff to down 5% today. pretty ugly for this time of year to be honest....

I would fully expect that if there was zero indication on the downhole gauge after perforating, then you simply shut in the well at surface and mechanically pressure up the casing to see if it has any fall off, which is very easily done, especially with such an ultra shallow well. If they didn't at least do that then I would deem that incompetent at site.
