BMR - not only Borrelli but the other shyster Alikhani. How can these two get away with putting out lie after lie about the prospects of this company which had folk like me believing their tales. Alikhani told us we have billions of $s of assets in the main with copper tailings. Borrelli gave a similar story with the lead and zinc and them added the vanadium to the mix to con folk into going with the warrants etc. I must be wearing some of the largest donkey's lugs the world has ever seen.

I took my green pet Pachytriton named Tiny to the pub one day and got a pint and a half a guinness for Tiny and sat in the corner minding my own business. I finished my pint and asked the barman for another along with a jellied eel for Tiny. The barman asked curiously why my Pachytriton was called Tiny - I said because he is my newt.

I'll get my coat - usually say he was an iguana but I know how picky people can get on here lately Lol ;@)

Let us hope we do not have to wait until post Christmas festivities as I imagine livers will need to recover - may as well get it all done in one go.

It is a bit of a mish mash of thoughts on the outcome of this election. Not sure the Scots actually want out of the union, though the Brexit issue may persuade some of those on the fence types who may not usually vote.

They we have the youth of the day who are up for a bit of a fight it seems and are quite vocal - we had Greta getting Time person of the year the other day. Will they all vote green and glue themselves up?

Sunderland may be first to announce again and until now has been a Labour stronghold - perhaps the result there will guide us on what carnage will be brought upon us.

It will be an interesting nights viewing on the tellybox thing.

What would interest me more though would be to see a little flashing red dot appear on my laptop screen.

For keeping the pressure on AB and the cronies. Would love to assist more but I have a number of battles on my hands presently. All the best for the forthcoming festive season. I think I can add that quote from the queen the other year as this has certainly been an "annus horribilis"

The ex chairman of Seadrill is busy building up his other companies Northern Drilling and Northern Ocean and buying up rigs etc. I would imagine if Seadrill went under this time he would be able to negotiate great rates to pick up rigs from the company he originally set up.

Dutch - I agree that we need some reassurance, though to be fair the article does not state they are down and out - well at least not yet. They have orders but not enough to cover all of their current debt. They will need to restructure to ensure they continue to be viable.

With regards to BPC - our commitment is to drill Q1 which should mean that if the doors are going to close of Seadrill we should already have the drill bit in the seabed before anything is decided.

Whilst Seadrill may be in financial trouble, they seemed capable of dragging themselves out of the mire last time around. If they can more outsourcing of their drills their cashflow should increase.

I did not note any reference to BPC in the articles regarding Seadrill nor Haliburton - the latter laying folk off due to lack of action and Seadrill of course has too many vessels doing nothing.

So BPC may give them a tiny little work to assist their financial situation - though if BPC get a gusher then it may save them both. With a guesstimate of the amount of oil being likened to that of the Gulf of Arabia then it would make sense to make a cheap short term deal with BPC if the expectation of Billions of boo come to fruition. Just a thought and not researched.

I used to speculate what I may get for Christmas - what I miss most now that I am an adult - are my mother's bacon sandwiches on the morning, my football sock full of brazil, hazel and pea nuts along with an orange and little nik naks. I recall a bike one year though I did not see it stood up against the sofa until the end of opening wrapped present. It is not a new pool of shares but a company setting up a fund - perhaps connected to the SWF - in order ordinary Bahamians can dip their toes in. That said - there is nothing mentioned as to who exactly this fund is aimed at nor how much the toe in the water would cost the everyday resident. We are in uncertain times - there are still many folk homeless as a result of Dorian. There will be a lot of labouring jobs going of course tidying up the mess that was left behind and rebuilding whatever can be.
